Not if you want to progress and get anywhere.

Edited by Necrogen: 4/13/2019 7:13:21 PMBut you can. you fail to see how.

Whatever helps you sleep at night

Edited by Necrogen: 4/14/2019 1:53:02 AMI'm not the one bothered by it. The lot of you can't seem to understand how to overcome this simple obstacle. Whatever helps you sleep at night.

not so much.

Edited by Necrogen: 4/13/2019 4:17:47 PMSee I believe that to be super odd because infusing was implemented as a relatively new idea and we maxed without it anyway. It can be done.
-
I’m not on any side or anything but I hope you know infusion has been in destiny since destiny 1
perhaps you could join the void...
-
I do. I remember very well the struggles since vanilla too. Let me share with you what I wrote to DMG04 DMG 04 Treat the cores like motes of light. Award them on level up. Keep them for infusing. masterwork weapons by using the weapon. To masterwork weapon types make the player kill things based on how the weapon is supposed to be used. Snipers- precision headshots ADS Swords- have sword fights with knights Shotguns fusions- get one hit multikills HCs pulse scout - precision multikills Sidearms - finish off a low health enemy 10% or less heavy weapons- multikills
-
The why’d you say it was relatively new?
perhaps you could join the void...
-
Because it's shifted in degree. Altered rules.
-
Not when you have to go through 50 armor items per slot during your quest of leveling up to 700
-
I got to 700 with very little infusing. You're accepting and making excuses for people. It can be done.
-
Of course you don't HAVE to infuse, but I bet you had a whole bunch of ugly armor with random useless perks on it. People don't want to play like that. I can also walk around my neighborhood with my pants on my head and bare feet, but that doesn't mean it's the preferred method of travel. You're the one making excuses for Bungie. It's not a question of "are you able to level up" it's a question of "are you enjoying the way you're accomplishing your leveling"
-
Edited by Necrogen: 4/13/2019 7:00:17 PMyou're making excuses. As if aesthetics make a difference. As if looking pretty makes you shoot better. You will eventually get where you need to be but in the meantime you would choose to complain. time wasted

i used to enjoy every bit of this game and play 5-6 hours a day. now i have 1-2 hours at best. with the time i have core farming in order to implement the loadout i want to use is not fun, nor is using a lesser balanced set of gear just because its higher. not to mention that light level has less value to begin with. this is just my opinion and desire for better. im still going to hang out for the content i paid for. not enjoying this as much as i could. " meaningful choices" ? i feel stifled because i dont commit more of my life to a video game that with one change could make a very "meaningful " difference to me , and others.

I posed an idea to DMG04 saying that they should award cores on level up. I said they should keep the infusion system because that's always been a staple in Destiny. In terms of masterworking I think perhaps they could allow us to masterwork it by using it. Each weapon type can have specific instructions in order for it to be masterworked. I think that would be a cool idea.
-
that it a very good idea. masterwork and infusion need to be different. i really like the idea for masterwork, also have the value of the masterwork related to the quality of progress through its process. for infusion , put them as rewards for things we alkready do instead of "chores" like waiting for "arcane mind" to spawn. i waited 45 minutes for that pos to spawn once.
