Remember all of this when September comes around and they try to sell us the removal of enhancement cores as a reason to buy the new DLC.
I have been duped by Bungie one too many times. Too many promises of trying to bring this franchise back to the glory days that have fallen flat, and now this.
I have been playing since TDB, and I am officially out. No more Destiny, or Bungie for that matter, for me. Even if everyone says it is the best DLC or game ever, they won’t get another cent from me.

I reached your point back in August. I saw the direction this game was heading and decided enough was enough. I did not care that the Bungie mouthpieces (streamers) hyped Forsaken as "the best DLC ever". I knew Bungie would find a way to screw it up and, what do you know, they did. I patiently waited for Bungie to figure out their priorities and perhaps give me a reason to return to this franchise. Shockingly, not only has Bungie failed to correct the horrid progression they actually doubled and tripled down on strangling progression with meaningless grind disguised as "content". I still return here to see if by some miracle Bungie finally figures out how to properly manage this franchise. Still nothing, still no reason to purchase Forsaken, still no reason to return to this franchise. I am just one of millions that dropped Bungie but take heart, there are plenty of better games out there. There IS life after Destiny.

Forsaken was the dlc that saved this game from the state it was in and hmmmm your done with destiny but still here on the forums ? Interesting

People support a game by purchasing content or convincing others to invest money into it. Doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of new people buying into the game since Forsaken came out. I was told “millions” came back with Forsaken, so again I ask, if Forsaken “saved the game” why have the numbers barely increased by 300k or less since CoO and why do the numbers continue to drop weekly?

Edited by EtherealKnight: 4/15/2019 12:56:24 AMTheres always low points during each season when all the content it burned thru and theres not alot to do not to mention atm along with no end game pvp experience to keep populations up during weekends more than likely if what you say is true more that likely isnt but I havent went and checked numbers week per week but when forsaken launched numbers destroyed CoO destroyed warmind numbers and not to mention the update for forsaken changing weapon slots saved the game from being a boring and stale 2 primary only system now people actually feel the most powerful they ever have and not to mention if you havent even played the dlc or recent seasons if we wanna think about it your opinion is sorta invalid to a point not exactly yours in particular but for those that say stuff and havent played it .

You can love something, but still be clear that you're unwilling to live with it. I love this game. But I'm unwilling to live with how Bungie is determined to mismanage it, and manipulate their players.

I’ve been saying that when they come to sell the next content after the AP has run its course they’re either going to eat crow and pray people buy their crap or Bungie and their devout defenders are going to have their “come to Jesus moment” when sales bottom out worse than last year. Shit goes round full circle. Bungie has been crapping on their consumer base for 2 years. I hope they get a taste of that. Reap what you’ve sown.
