Continued Enhancement Core and Mod Component Discussion
Hey all,
A few weeks back, we talked about Enhancement Cores coming from Gunsmith bounties in the [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/47706]TWAB[/url]. I wanted to give a quick update on this, as it also involves Mod Components, which have been a topic of discussion as well. Please note- this is all still in development for Season of Opulence, and could change.

The team is continuing to evaluate feedback over mod components, enhancement cores, and rewards all up. Thank you for the continued feedback. We'll give you updates as we have them.

So this is what you call "listening to our feedback". Sounds like a whole lot of horse shit to me. 1 core per weekly bounty is absurd. Required grind for cores is absurd. We don't need another pointless grind to infuse. We just want to be able to use the gear we want in higher base light activities. The original format for infusion was irritating. You needed the same type of weapon to infuse a weapon. But this season would be fine if the infusion system did not require cores and only needed planetary materials, legendary shards and glimmer. It would be a simple fix if you would just remove cores from INFUSION and keep them exclusively for MASTERWORKING gear.
