Oh. My. God. No fix to matchmaking. No masterwork re-rolling. No glass needles. No fix to Luna's and NF. No more space for shaders or anything. What about the Radiant Matrix, or forge matchmaking from orbit? Enhancement cores..? Are any real issues going to be addressed soon, or are you just going to keep dreaming? This is just nonsense.

  • You’re expecting way too much to be fixed at this time, it’s called ARC week not make destiny 2 into the most glorious game week.

  • What? I'm expecting too much by expecting issues that have been talked about for over 6 months to be addressed? Oh okay. How long do you reckon they need? A year? 4 years? At what point am I allowed to call things into question without "ExPecTiNg ToO mUcH"?

  • How much stuff do you honestly expect one dev to work on at a time? Look at Warframe, god bless DE as I am a big supporter of theirs these days but they tend to work on a lot of stuff at one time and it often comes out more than a little busted. Not being pro-bungie or anything but Bungie has been really communicating a lot more consistently(which honestly has more to do with not having to worry about Activision’s stock holders when discussing things in public; being one of the business world I understand.) allows for a lot more freedom to openly discuss things. But expecting an all encompassing list of things not mentioned isn’t helpful at some points. It can often poison the well so to speak of the message. That’s why we ended up with D2 launching at the state it was in. You had feedback that contradicted itself coming from all angles and it’s hard to narrow down a median when the angles are so broad. Maybe they will address the things you are concerned about. Maybe they won’t. But sometimes you just gotta wait for things to come to pass before you worry about the next thing. Truly dissatisfied people walk away. Even the frequent toxic members of the forum of both sides of any topic are emotionally invested. That’s why they continue to discuss games they don’t play anymore(which I don’t quite buy since it’s not hard to have an alt account). Which is always good because healthy discussion shouldn’t have people constantly agreeing with other people since ultimately you should be thinking for yourself and since everyone is different I’d expect most thoughts to be so as well.

  • I'm top 1% in terms of game time, and I am absolutely close to just walking away from this incompetence, and Bungie should care. Many have left before me and I understand completely why they did. I am not asking too much. I expect a developer such as Bungie to listen to the community and fix issues the community at large hates. Instead, they consult streamers. Destiny as a game demands a considerable time investment from its players but Bungie shows literally no respect for that. If they can't handle the Destiny franchise in a semi-competent manner, which they aren't at this time, they need to hand it over to a developer that can. They've set the bar so low that people like you defend them for literally delivering nothing in terms of improvement.

  • At what point in what I said did I defend Bungie blindly? For one to write so much yet read so little it’s kinda foolish, don’t ya think? And please don’t bring up the “top 1% of playtime” argument or as I like to call it, “The race to see who is the biggest virgin.” It’s a trivial matter, just shows you had a lot of free time. Big woop. All money spent on a product is equal whether it be casual, hardcore, or otherwise. Your time spent has nothing to do with perceived value of a product and no company owes one portion of the player base any more than the others. What you are demanding isn’t unreasonable, but looking at things realistically when it comes to development you are setting yourself up for disappointment because no company can work on a laundry list like that in a reasonable amount of time to support your supposed need.

  • Oh no, my feelings are so hurt. Dude Ive been playing since day 1 of D1, enchantment cores is the smallest issue that the community has ever complained about. It’s not hard to keep a high amount of cores. It’s all about inventory management.

Yes, they are. They are a useless currency when you look at Motes of light that actually had a legit purpose as a currency in a game that happens to have a multipurpose.

  • An hour of play (albeit boring) yesterday earned me 60 enhancement cores. On top of that I earned 1400 gunsmith mats, 40 mod components and 4 exotics. Even if you have an issue with cores, you shouldn't whatsoever with Legendary Shards. Look into buying Simulation Seeds from Spider for Shards. Look into Brother Vance and his reputation packages.

  • That is not an hour of play. You spent an hour turning in materials you earned over hours upon hours of playing. No matter how you spin it.

  • 2500 took me 80 minutes. My characters' inventory was completely empty so nothing got sent to postmaster, I dismantled as it came. If you wanna break out a timer when you do it, go/ for it. Just keep in mind that different consoles (PS4 Regular/Pro) mean different speeds at which you can complete any action.

  • That last paragraph of my first comment is the method. If you have a large amount of legendary shards (2,000+) and are willing to potentially sacrifice up to a couple hundred, (last time I did this I spent 2500 and lost 350 of them - it's unfortunately a gamble where sometimes you can almost break even on what you spend and sometimes you lose out quite a bit) you can do this. Just wait for a day for Spider to sell Simulation Seeds for Legendary Shards. 1 Shard = 5 Seeds Take the seeds you buy to Brother Vance for his reputation packages. 60 Seeds = 1 Package One package generally gets you one of two potential drop combinations: 6 Shards 1 Legendary (Masterwork Potential) 1 Shader (Always Legendary, Recycles into 1 Shard) OR 1 Shard 2 Legendaries (Masterwork Potential for BOTH) 1 Shader (Same thing, always Legendary) You can also get legendary sparrows, ghost shells, and Exotics as supplementary drops. Doing the quick math, getting the one Legendary drop package gets more Shards back if you recycle all your shaders and dismantle all Legendary drops. However, that also means you get less Legendaries overall. Which means less Masterwork potentials.. so less cores.

  •
An hour of play (albeit boring) yesterday earned me 60 enhancement cores.
So, it doesn't matter if you collected 5000 cores, it's still not going to fix the major issue in this entire game on why they added the cores when they first changed the infusion system, and that was them being lazy not adding an actual loot to the loot pool being fully aware that this is supposed to be a loot based game.
On top of that I earned 1400 gunsmith mats, 40 mod components and 4 exotics.
Again, so, especially knowing most of the mods in this game are set to limit how gamers play this game. Every single mod in this game is assigned to specific items and knowing there isn't much to use them on? you can literally have 20 mods on a character and if none of them work on an item you want to use them on, they just instantly became totally useless. A game like this is not supposed to be designed to control how gamers play. It's supposed to be designed to allow gamers to have the freedom to play how they want to play and customize their characters how they want to.
Even if you have an issue with cores, you shouldn't whatsoever with Legendary Shards. Look into buying Simulation Seeds from Spider for Shards. Look into Brother Vance and his reputation packages.
Nothing you said here is the main issue with this entire game, and as soon as you comprehend what the main issue is, you will see how much wasted time is put into this game for little next to nothing at all when rewarding the gamer.

  • They told you why it’s in the game, to create inherent scarcity. Just about every persistent world game uses them in some form.

  •
They told you why it’s in the game, to create inherent scarcity. Just about every persistent world game uses them in some form.
Now let's look at the truth of what they were originally created for, to masterwork an item. The infusion system wasn't broken. They changed the name and the purpose of what they were created for and used them to drag out what little loot they added to this game. Later on, they slowly added more ways to collect them which still has done nothing for this game since it's a broken currency for a loot based game.
