Warlocks rejoice! We are finally vindicated. Not only have Bungie openly stated that they overdid it with Novawarp... more importantly, they deemed several non-arc subclasses so useless that they needed to update them RN, rather than waiting for their respective weeks. Finally, I can be more than a Well of Radiance and a Slovabomb.

  • Nova Warp buffs didn't go far enough in my opinion. Reduce the the cost of a full charge by 7% after they increased it by 60%? Big freaking deal. Reduce charge time by .2 seconds? Wow, we're really hitting the big time now! *Sarcasm* Still the weakest roaming super in the game. But whatever. I haven't played since January because of the first nerf, and I won't be coming back until I see a nerf to Spectral blades.

  • Literally the only thing it badly needed was a duration buff. And it got a decent duration buff.

  • Total BS comment. You still can't catch anyone to even get a kill. Anybody can still "moonwalk" away from a novawarp with no problem. And a duration buff doesn't do squat when they increased the charge cost by 60% but had the genius idea to only return 7% with this patch. Simple 8th grade math would tell you that this Novawarp update is hot trash, and will do nothing to increase the viability or usage rate of the super. still the absolute weakest super in the game by a long shot. still completely useless in every activity that this game offers. smh

    Okay :) It’s not like it’s the only super that heals itself by killing so if you’re smart and use it right you can kill the whole team and come out with full health. No we want it to play like every other roaming super, you know the ones you have to actually use your brains for and aim with. It’s supposed to be situational. Dawnblade can be far better, but requires aim, speed, and not getting nuked out of the sky. Warp needs no aim, and can tank basically anything if you just pop it close by and kill a bunch of people.

    I’m sorry but... if you seriously think Slowva and Well are the only decent PvE subclasses then you must be new. But apparently you aren’t, so like... wut. Warp is meh for PvE. It’s been PvP oriented from the beginning. However Stormcaller and Dawnblade have been perfect hybrids since Everlasting Flame got buffed and Crown of Tempests was reworked.

  • Can I throw on Stormcaller or Dawnblade and absolutely slay out? Sure. The thing is that is reflective of my weapons, and not my abilities. Realistically, I choose Novabomb as it’s a one and done. I don’t need to spend the next ~20 seconds stuck in a super that is liable to get me killed. For most Warlock attunements, you simply can’t kill as much as fast. Don’t get me wrong, bottom tree DB is great when it works, but it’s too inconsistent. I’m not looking to maybe be able to slay all the adds in the reckoning. Stormcaller is also fine, but why bother spending 30 seconds killing trash mobs when I can just chuck 3 Novas in half that time? It’s about efficiency. Skullwalkers and Well Protocol are just miles ahead of the competition.

  • Personally I think Bungie just needs to calm down with Nova, like jebus. It’s Tether but everything is dead instead of just stuck in place. And it’s Galanors if they actually worked. Nova Bomb imo is too op to warrant anything alas really, which kinda does take the fun out of the other subclasses, you’re right. Titans are PvP, Warlocks are PvE, hunters are hybrids

  • I’d rather they buff all the other subclasses up to Nova’s level. You should feel like the god-slayer you are while playing PvE.
