This Week at Bungie – 4/4/2019
This week at Bungie, we’re getting ready for some high voltage.
A storm is brewing. Next week, we’ll kick off what we’ve been calling Arc Week. Our goal for this happening has been to take the element that makes our sandbox crackle and put it under the microscope. The most noticeable update is that we improved many Arc subclass paths from the time before Forsaken. The week will also feature Arc Singe and Arc Bounties to synergize with your updated abilities. To provide a proving grounds for all this new energy, Mayhem will be available in the Crucible to let you experiment with your enhanced Arc abilities using shockingly short cooldowns.
Arc Week will also feature one of the most powerful Arc weapons ever created, the Thunderlord Exotic Machine Gun. If you weren’t able to complete the quest to obtain Thunderlord last year, you will have from April 9 to April 23 to revisit the Cosmodrome and add it your collection.

Titans don't need anymore pvp buffs. They have spectral armor while roaming super is active, can one hit melee outside of super ability, and have the best exotic in the game.

Why are people grumbing about arc week!?!?!?! There are 3 arc class based emotes that will only be available for direct purchase. Arc week is gonna be insane. Off the charts crazy! Balls to the wall brilliant. Hahahahahaahahahaha, just fooling. It's a disgrace that 'Arc Week' made it onto the roadmap. Guess Bungo need the hype to sell their overpriced MTs in what is already a full priced game. Seems Bungo's greed and incompetence are vying for top scumbag spot these days.

It's sad that some people feel the need to come into a forum for a game they allegedly don't play and flood the forum with venom in order to just ruin it for everyone else. Is that the reason these people get out of bed in the morning? It's like someone putting something nasty in the punch bowl at a party where people are having a good time just to ruin the party for everyone. Does this make this person smarter than everyone showing them that, yes, this party is bad? It certainly is now. I had to say something. This is totally out of control and beyond normal human behavior. You may strike this post if you like. I'll understand.

Is possible to get cool emote like this one in-game with triumph or with everversum (free content not silver). Just in general could we get reward for doing triumph like 70k points give a cool sparrow (broom sparrow come back pls) ? This update for all cryo look cool and hope to see Void week come in few weeks (pls not in month).

Nice to see some buffs to some underutilized Supers... ...but, not enough change for me to get re-engaged in the game.

I quite liked it, an improvement is an improvement. it may not be everything we want to hear but its got a lot of positive changes and bunjies response about pvp was great. Let people know whats going on thats what we have always asked for.

4 RepliesOverall, I am pleased with the content of this TWAB. All of it sounds like it will be fun... and what is a video game without fun? Question for some of you... Is it not possible for you to look at this and enjoy the fact that Bungie is trying to do something that should be a fun week? Sounds like they are trying to give us a week where we can relax from "grinding" and just have fun with some cool stuff.
