This Week at Bungie – 4/4/2019
This week at Bungie, we’re getting ready for some high voltage.
A storm is brewing. Next week, we’ll kick off what we’ve been calling Arc Week. Our goal for this happening has been to take the element that makes our sandbox crackle and put it under the microscope. The most noticeable update is that we improved many Arc subclass paths from the time before Forsaken. The week will also feature Arc Singe and Arc Bounties to synergize with your updated abilities. To provide a proving grounds for all this new energy, Mayhem will be available in the Crucible to let you experiment with your enhanced Arc abilities using shockingly short cooldowns.
Arc Week will also feature one of the most powerful Arc weapons ever created, the Thunderlord Exotic Machine Gun. If you weren’t able to complete the quest to obtain Thunderlord last year, you will have from April 9 to April 23 to revisit the Cosmodrome and add it your collection.

You should probably just 86 any plans for destiny 3... your incompetence at making a decent gaming experience without legitimate talent like that of Joe Staten is [b][b][i]painfully[/i][/b][/b] obvious and its embarrassing. You have powerful engrams scattered all over the game tied to specific game modes. But if players don't enjoy doing those things it feels like a chore. And what makes things worse is getting three of the same slotted item. Example would be three gauntlets, one thats plus 2 light higher than the last. It feels like a chore and a slap in the face at that point..... And to make things worse on this layered sandwich of bullshit[spoiler] masterworks chores[/spoiler]

Take questions from the chat, don't dodge the hard questions Play on a real account (not a rigged internal account) with random players from the chat. At least try to act interested in your own game and progression, not just regurgitating marketing dept hype. Double dare!

It is still a piece of shit game without any viable good pvp. Pve is constantly the same old reskinned boring, forced upon us crap that you have been putting out since d1. You are making the same mistakes since d1 like nerfing weapons into oblivion and then later after making things worse changing it. This game is not fun. I don't want to be forced to play gambit prime crap or anything else. I bought this game to play pvp and yet no new maps. You removed trials with no intention of bringing it back, so basically you lied to us and deceived us. You seem to have no clue what you are doing and you don't give a crap about your player base with the exception of a few streamers. I am so angry at your choices and so done with your game. You are a let down.

@Cozmo Do SOMETHING for average crucible players, PLEASE!? Give us SOMETHING for gosh sake! Fix matchmaking, give us solo players a way to get glory points, give us a REAL ranking system that uses actual SKILL level to match against, fix DDOS, fix super exploits, remove loser penalties, do SOMETHING about spectral crutches, and PLEASE stop catering the game for Twitch streamer PvP gods and help us average players out for ONCE! I've been playing this game for a long time and I'm ready to quit. I know I'm not the only one. I think you know it, too.

New game mode 4 three man teams 1 giant traveler ball and tractor cannons sort of like grif ball c'mon bungie use your imagination in game and forgive the grammatical errors in the forums

Some ideas for mode changes Pvp Quick play - as is point if you win. Point if you lose. Competitive - make it wins only count and remove the lose penalty. Trails of osiris - bring it back as 3v3. With win point and lose penalty. Bring back all the old gear and ornaments. Change the win streak from max of 5 to 9. And when you hit a 9 stack it auto cashes in for an ornament tokens. Trial of nine - bring back as 4v4. With the 9 win vs 3 loses. Back if you get 9 win with loses you get a key for one of three chests. One chest with weapon drop. One for armour. One for misc (ghost, ship, ornament, etc). If you flawless you get a second key for a bigger chest with better gear. Fixed rolls etc. But... you only get one shot per week. Get a lose and you can't go flawless that week. Three loses and you done. Can no longer take part that week. PvevP Gambit and prime - leave as is. New gambit mode - single round with no invasion. Literally just a race to the boss but point when the portal would open a bullet sponge primeval would spawn in to guard the bank but keep the drain motes feature so would need people clearing the bank. So still be pvp so to speak as you were in direct competition with the other team and could have a second bank appear after the final boss spawns so you can keep cashing in motes to throw more enemies at the other team. Pve Horde mode - Someone else suggest this but a horde mode. Just a stand and survive as long as possible thing. Could be different version ranging for a limited number of waves of one enemy faction to near endless against all enemies forces at once.

2 RepliesI played the original Destiny every single day. I currently play 1 or 2 crucible matches a week, tops and every time it’s like this “You know I think I want to play Destiny. (1-2 matches in)... What was I thinking... this is pointless” and PS4 gets turned off. At this rate PS+ is gonna go bye bye and I’ll just play games on my phone. At least they don’t try to hide that their games are money grabs. Bungie just leaves all this controversy going so there’s a conversation. But it’s bad customer relations.

6 RepliesSo making comp levelling faster has meant more people are getting powerful pinnacle weapons. Quickplay is now INFESTED with pinnacle weapons. Every game is full of Luna’s, Not Forgotten, Recluse and Mountaintop. WTF were you guys thinking? Quickplay was already ruined for people who didn’t play Comp for pinnacle weapons. Now Quickplay is basically comp with 6v6. Sooooo many hunters running Dustrock/Luna’s/Wardcliff. Recluse all over the place with its incredible ttk. You guys are seriously cooked. Bring in a tiered rank system, bronze, silver, gold, platinum. I know, I know, the player population can’t handle it. Well unfortunately, that’s your fault.

2 RepliesI'm sorry Cozmo I'm a fan of Destiny I am. I love this franchise back to the original game. And while these updates are cool and all, most my clan just does their milestones and goes on about their way and plays other things. Sure we may grab the catalysts but that's about it. I have a clan of one hundred members and barely a "third" of them play destiny regularly anymore. And it's disheartening, it really is, for me. I want to stay in game, do more, but there's little to grind for regularly. The loot pool is stale there's no new additions to this season aside from the few in prime and reckoning and that's it. No new strikes and no new crucible maps and no new NFs. But loot is to me the biggest deal, maybe it's the way the game is drawn up maybe you can't idk. But this Arc week just seems meh at best to a number of folks playing. I hope things pick up cause I dearly enjoy this franchise and want it for all of us fans to be amazing for years to come.
