This Week at Bungie – 4/4/2019
This week at Bungie, we’re getting ready for some high voltage.
A storm is brewing. Next week, we’ll kick off what we’ve been calling Arc Week. Our goal for this happening has been to take the element that makes our sandbox crackle and put it under the microscope. The most noticeable update is that we improved many Arc subclass paths from the time before Forsaken. The week will also feature Arc Singe and Arc Bounties to synergize with your updated abilities. To provide a proving grounds for all this new energy, Mayhem will be available in the Crucible to let you experiment with your enhanced Arc abilities using shockingly short cooldowns.
Arc Week will also feature one of the most powerful Arc weapons ever created, the Thunderlord Exotic Machine Gun. If you weren’t able to complete the quest to obtain Thunderlord last year, you will have from April 9 to April 23 to revisit the Cosmodrome and add it your collection.

AS A CODE OF THE JUGGERNAUT MAIN, I THANK YOU! Tbh, this subclass was already pretty strong. Pairing knockout and Wormgod's Caress was already nasty, but mow it'll be EVEN NASTIER!! LET THE PUNCH FEST COMMENCE!!

I would be tempted to buy the emotes. If and only if they did not come with everything else, and it was like a $1-2. Same goes for the other bundles. Under $5 score, OVER $5 ignore.

So the only thing special about this event is the buff to our arc subclasses then the thunderlord? It's cool an all but i just feel like it could be more maybe give us that exotic that no one has yet.

How cool would've it been to see an armor set with Arc based energy electrifying and surrounding parts of your armor? The same thing should be done if you're thinking about doing this for Void and Solar week in the future. I hope ideas like this do come up and are implemented and not [b]redacted[/b]. Events like these should always have cool things to pursue through actual [b]gameplay[/b]. Give us these things.

Change the emotes cost at eververse! 10€ (1100 silver) for an emote is way to overpriced Cozmo. The price should be 200/300 silver for each emote. You could even put every exotic emote at eververse for sale,i bet you would be getting more revenue if you do this and lower the cost to 200/300 silver.

1 ReplyI don’t mind using silver to purchase items. But lately I have no way of knowing if my money will still be going to Activision or not. Since this annual pass is technically part Activision it’s save to assume they are getting part of my silver money. This has stopped me entirely from making silver purchases. I’m only purchasing silver once I know the money is going to Bungie and Bungie alone

Yes to new catalysts, emotes, buffing subclasses/weapon drops, and trying something new with arc week. No to the double nerf for invasions in gambit. If we get to invade less, the kills shouldn't heal less as well. Seems you should've picked 1 or the other: either invade less or have kills heal less. Overall I dig the incoming patch. I know it's hard work to keep a game like this maintained, while also coming up with new ways to engage the player base, while said player base is always shouting not so encouraging things at you. Say that to say: don't let the negative get to you, overall y'all have been doing a hell of a job. Keep it up. Anyway, can't wait to electrify and shock during arc week. Hopefully we get to burn and send things to the darkness with solar and void weeks in the future.
