Not impressed at all. Animated, OP Over-Hyped Eye Candy. Too bad it never translates. Sorry Bungie, Gambit and the whole PVP in PVE experiment is an epic fail. PVP DOES NOT belong in PVE. Leave it in the rear view mirror for Destiny 3.

  • An epic fail? Pretty sure gambit is an enormous success. I have a good time going in as a casual solo or as a sweaty group. If you don't like the PVP aspect you don't have to do it. Someone else on your team will likely give it a shot.

  • Yep. Everyone I play with, PvP pals and PvE buds alike, love it and say it's the most replayable content in the game. It's a perfect go to activity that has matchmaking and tons of variety via enemy types, arenas, bosses, etcetera. There are roles for an array of playstyles. The weapons are highly sought after and have multiple stylish ornaments. Gambit has ample lore behind it. Wanna address any of those? Or perhaps get back on target with your uncorroborated claim? I anticipate you'll just try to deflect again since I know your aim is just to be annoying.

Scout is poo poo , auto shotty took a solid kick to the groin Some of the ornaments are good, I’ll give you that It’s not this great game mode, it’s just a game mode

  • I didn't say it introduced new bosses lol. It just has a decent pool of them to pull from. The Rocket Launcher is fine. It has Impact Casing which should pair very well with the recent base damage buff, and Tracking Module is still very popular. I'll agree the scout is currently an unfavorable archetype but it's not like it has bad stats. Everyone and their grandmother wants a good Trust though. Breakneck is nuts. Malfeasance is fun and invaluable for Taken disposal. I just see Gambit as one of the most easily replayable gametypes. I never get bored of it, just burnt out after a long session like with anything else.

  • I definitely wouldn't say enormous success. Its a niche game mode that the majority of people I have played with either dislike or are completely burned out on after malfesance/breakneck/ dredgen title hunting.

  • Well getting Dredgen, Malfeasance, etc. requires a shit ton of playing Gambit. They couldn't have disliked it that much lol. I get sick of even my favorite activities when I grind myself to death on them.

  • I'm sorry you struggle with basic reading comprehension. As I said, most of the players I have interacted with in my clan and through LFGing raids etc, either don't like gambit or thought it was OK until they got burned out. Very few outright loved it and are excited for this season. Maybe less video games and more attention payed in school would help you out.

  • in order; same, thats marketing for ya while d2 is still a thing they need to keep forking money over to activision and getting it from somewhere. WRONG! seriously gambit strikes an excellent balance of both pvp and pve. so sorry you spend all your hours doing public events w/o making them heroic, sounds more salty than i want it to be but back on topic. invaders in gambit are pretty well balanced; limited time, 4v1, bit o overshields, and yes markers (heaven forbid as there are plenty of defendable postions with the only real game breaker being pay wall weapons like machine guns). onwards; thats just like your opinion man [spoiler]even though its a wrong one ye salty sandra[/spoiler] and bungie better keep this moving forward and making game modes of this quality, without shafting the players with broken restricted weapon/armor access.
