There were too many problems for me to stick around. They finally got it right at the end??? Call me when it's right, season of the drifter should be done by then

I started at 1.7 when destiny had a major content drought in d1 and cause they gave away a year of dlc for free I always played it, 1.8 was its peak and it’s still really -blam!-ing good now, just had a global event last week like most months, did you ever get any 6 piece gear sets? Edit: too many problems? Oh like CoO? Or D2 vanilla? Wait what about the launch of RoI? That was smooth, how about Black Armoury, that has no hitches right? The Division 2 release is 15 Mar breh

I have to admit, I played the open demo today and it wasn't that bad.... I need to get used to the layout and I want more weapons, but I'm concerning buying this once I'm done season of the drifter

Plus everyone can give the open beta for Division 2 a try this coming weekend to see if it is to their liking. Though if they didn't like Division 1 (after they fixed things up near the end), I doubt they'll enjoy Division 2, because it really is and feels very similar. To me that's not a bad thing. I even enjoyed Division on and off in the early days (didn't pick it up at launch, about a month later and got a really good deal on it for $30.) I played it on and off, but definitely got at least 150-200 hours; far more than my money's worth. I played the private beta for Division 2 and though it had some issues (some disconnections, but mainly audio issues for me), it was still fun and felt like just playing a prettier expansion for Division 1. Everything I've seen so far, it feels like they are building properly on their original game (unlike taking a dozen steps back like Destiny 2 did at launch), so I'll definitely be picking it up. [spoiler]Though I'm sure I'll hop back in and play some of the Season of the Drifter too, as I actually enjoy Gambit. Never understood the gamer war, why not just play [b]all[/b] the games you enjoy, no need to stick with just one. All games like this have content droughts, plus anyone gets burnt out if you play the same thing too much, too often. I like rotating around. Hell sometimes I take a day or a week off from the big AAA games and just play an indie for a different experience...[/spoiler]

Yep you put it perfectly, if you didn’t like what 1.8 had to offer then Div2 ain’t for you, however, I’ll give season of the grifter a go but it’s always been the one activity each week I don’t complete for powerful engrams, I get two games in or even one and call it quits. Hope the updates make it more “fun”

Yeah, I actually enjoy Gambit mode most of the time (except when I get matched against 4 stacks; since I play solo most of the time, that kinda sucks). But that game mode isn't for everyone. I hope the new modes add a fresh take on it and you and others can enjoy it as well. The extra maps will be a welcome addition too. I also really like the idea of 'role/class-like gear'. Would be cool to see sets like that for other activities in Destiny as well. It would be awesome if these sets do something similar to Divisions' sets, and grant an additional bonus perk or two when you have the full set. Guess we'll see soon enough. I know lots of people are psyched about the look of a lot of the new gear, but I've always been one that cares more about the utility (rather than visibility) of gear, and that goes for any game not just Destiny, but that's just my personal preference.

Free demo this weekend. By all acounts division 2 is picking up right where division 1 left all, which was pretty good.

Yeah, I played the private beta, and it felt and played like a prettier and massive expansion to Division 1 (which is not a bad thing in my opinion). For those that don't like the core game play of the first game, it is unlikely they'll enjoy Division 2; though like you said they can play the open beta this weekend if they want to give it a shot. Unlike Destiny 2 which took a dozen steps backwards upon release, everything I've played so far feels like it really is built from the final version of Division 1's foundation, and is moving forward, which is nice to see. Also as an added bonus, all three expansion DLCs that are planned and minor content updates for the first year of Division 2 are completely free to everyone that owns the base game.
