I found it interesting that right after your quote about the hardcore player... they launched into Drifter bounties to hop players up to max light. I'm pretty sure no hardcore players like this!

Just wait. Unless things change once they've chased away as many players as possible they'll start targeting the bootlickers like whales in order to wring the last possible dime from this IP before it crashes and burns.
