In all seriousness, I've never ended one of your promotional videos feeling less enthusiastic than I do now.

I heard the same thing. More of Bungie making the game they want to make, and not hearing what we want to play. The loot looks great....and the story around the Drifter seems to be taking a cool turn. But the game play experiences are more of the same....and not in a good way.

Whyd you skip over the parts they changed in direct response to community feedback? Armor sets (granted only for gambit play) Story content in annyal pass dlc Pinnacle pve content thats not complete 500 strikes Gambit mode thats only 1 round. And there was some other stuff too

Because they weren't glaring positives for me. The central core of what they did for this season is just what I said, sweaty gambit and a PVE mode with a timer. Just because they sprinkled some sugar on it, doesn't mean it's not a turd.

Well if i may. How can you say its a turd if you've got experienced it? Or is your turd assumption because of a couple things you assume you dont like? Might i also add. Your opinion isnt an unequivocal truth. And providing misleading information about the content isn't right

This was just a take on what I thought about the video, what I took from it. You've assumed far too much in your immediate need to defend Bungie. I value everyone's opinion and I hold mine as equal to everyone else's. You don't have to like my opinion, it's just that. An opinion. I never made any disclaimer otherwise, that was you reading too far into it. Is what I said misleading? Everything I said happened.

Misleading would imply I'm trying to trick other people. Incomplete sure, focused on the negative absolutely. But I didn't write that to mislead people. I wanted to express what I was thinking after watching the video. I would hope others would watch the video themselves and not simply take someone else's opinion on it at face value, and if they felt so inclined afterwards to agree or disagree with me. If you feel that the Bungie community is a bunch of sheep who can be mislead by a comment, well then I'm sorry that I have a higher opinion of their capabilities than you do.

The bungie community is very easily mislead. As is the general public. Nuance escapes most people these days Most people wont actually watch the video. And someone saying something negative about the game, in the current climate of this forum, whether its true or not will be believed little to no questions asked It may not have been intentionally misleading. But thats what it is

I don’t think it’s being a “destiny hater” to not be impressed with this vidoc. I love destiny and play a lot but I’m not impressed with it either, and I’m not surprised. To me the whole gambit mode is stupid. Hopefully this season will change my mind. But nothing in this video makes me think it will.
