Wipes mechanics:
- Art of the Tempest: A wipe mechanic that happens throughout the encounter.
- Wrath of the Tempest: You screwed up, just wipe.
- Qeôx's Choosing: Qeôx chooses a player and sends them to another realm. If the Player does not return back within a given time, the player dies, causing the Rest of the team to wipe.
Non-wipes:
- Arc's Deliverance: Qeôx is gathering energy for his Wrath. Damage him enough for it to be prevented.
- Cloud of the Storm: Qeôx will summon a cloud around the whole area. When this happens, you cannot see clearly and Qeôx will be attacking the players with his melee weapon during this time, hit him in critical spots to prevent him from killing you.
- Mist of the Storm(HARD MODE ONLY): Very similar to the cloud; however, you are suppressed, slowed, and BLACKOUT.
- Qeôx's Hate: Qeôx chose you to become banished to his realm.
- Ritual of Conduction: (Lasts for a minute) Qeôx's Phantasm will be gathering energy from the player that was chosen within the other realm. Once a minute is up, the Phantasm will send the player back, killing every one else, due to his Wrath.
- Whirlwind (HARD MODE ONLY): A symbol a player gets
- Lightning (HMO): A symbol a player gets.
- Thunder (HMO): A symbol a player gets.
- Water (HMO): A symbol a player gets.
- Arc Energy (HMO): A symbol a player gets.
- The One and Many (HMO): The final symbol that everyone steps on.
- Summoning: The player returns to reality.
Buff:
-Lighting of Qeôx: You can damage Qeôx.
MECHANICS:
The Raid begins within a circular arena, consisting 5 ritual pads evenly space out around the edge of the area. There one more pad, slightly bigger than the rest, directly in the center of the battlefield. This pad has five streams of arc energy flowing through it, each stream connected to one of the 5 pads.
To start the fight, all players must step on a pad, while one steps on the middle pad.
A whirlwind of lightning will begin to form on the middle pad (I recommend moving off the pad by this time).
Qeôx has been summoned. His weapon he starts with is a lightning beam, that shoots out of right hand, and can chain to other players if they're too close. His left hand shoots a blue wave in the shape of circle, which slows you down.
There are no ads in this encounter, it's just Qeôx.
PHASE ONE: At some point, Qeôx will begin his Art of the Tempest. When this happens, an overshield will appear above his health bar. You must destroy it immediately or else it is a wipe. The player who takes off the last bit of his shield will have his aggro. That player will be selected for Qeôx's Choosing. Qeôx will teleport to that player, grab them, and send them to his realm.
PHASE TWO: You now have two separate roles; One person is within Qeôx's realm (A) while the other 5 people are still in reality (B).
(A): The player will find themself within a realm that looks just like reality, except the enemy that's at the center is known as QEÔX'S PHANTASM. The Phantasm will be gathering the light energy from this player, if it takes your energy for a minute, it is a wipe (Ritual of Conduction). The player will have to defeat this Phantasm before the time runs out.
(B): The other 5 players will have to be ready for Qeôx's attack, for he switches his arsenal to an Arc staff. He will then use the debuff Cloud of the Storm. The player he attacks is random but you have to be aware throughout the whole time, until the other player kills the Phantasm. Qeôx will be invisible until he's right in front of a player (Much like the Berserkers in Scourge of the Past). The original Qeôx will also be form the Ritual of Conduction, however, the 5 players cannot damage him.
(A): Once this player kills the Phantasm, he will grab the Arc energy within the Phantasm to strike down at the center pad. This will stop the ritual the original Qeôx is performing, while sending the player back to reality.
(A and B): Qeôx will teleport to the back of the arena on a pedestal, beginning his *Wrath of the Tempest*. The each player will have to step on any of the 5 pads while the player who was sent to the other realm steps on the middle pad (for he still has the arc staff). The arc energy within the 5 pads will charge the staff so the player wielding it can stop Qeôx.
DPS PHASE: Every one can now damage Qeôx; however, it is not easy. Qeôx will send out a huge wave that suppresses everyone. This entails that supers, grenades, or special melees cannot be used during the encounter. If anything, it is recommended for it to be used right before the DPS PHASE.
Qeôx will now send out an arc wave, much like the other one, but this one has black lightning. If the player is hit by it, they will be damaged over time significantly.
Once DPS PHASE is over, rinse and repeat.
HARD MODE:
Qeôx will now have an ability called *Mirage*. There are now two of him, But one is tremendously weaker than the other.
During PHASE TWO, Player (A) will have to deal with three Phantasms, but they will all have 50% less health than the one in NORMAL MODE. Players (B) will gain a new debuff called *Mist of the Storm*. During this debuff, the players are slowed, suppressed, and Blackout is active.
ADDED MECHANICS: During *Mist of the Storm*, 5 Symbols will appear, and Qeôx needs 2 minutes instead of 1 minute. Players (B) Will gain a buff on the bottom left, indicating which symbol they have (the buff will be random). By this time, the player (A) Will have already dealt with the Phantasms and is currently waiting to be sent back to reality, however, the player needs the energy from the symbols to gain the arc staff. The symbol corresponds to the buff that players (B) will have. These symbols are above the pads. Each player (B) will have to find their symbol and run to it, without dying by Qeôx or his mirage. They (B) then have to wait for the player (A) to tell them which symbol goes first, second, etc. Once all five pads have been stepped on properly, the staff will appear and the player (A) can stop the ritual.
DPS PHASE: Both Qeôx and his mirage will perform *Wrath of the Tempest*. His mirage does not have an overshield so kill him before damaging the real one (Remember, he is very easy to kill). Player (A) will the strike the middle pad while players (B) will step on their plate with their symbol and corresponding buff. Damage him and then rinse and repeat.
Who shall be next...
