having a lot of fun on forza and rainbow right now lol this game is nearly unplayable for me and i havent gotten any support for it after numerous attempts to reach out. guess its time for another hiatus until last word drops ig.

There should be a story mode Raid that unlocks after World First completion for beginners who may want to tackle the normal raid in the future. The story mode will teach the basic mechanics of the Raid, basically being a tutorial. It should have the revive tokens removed and shouldn't have enrage team wipe mechanics. I say this because of the new SotP Raid had story elements, such as Siviks that are lost on players who haven't done the activity, which is almost the entirety of the Black Armory story arc. If you're going to have story through action, players need to be able to access that action in some form.

Its hot -blam!-ing garbage and Ive enjoyed everything in BA so far. I dont even remotely get why after watching people bitch about the miserable grinds across 3 seperate characters to unlock the 3rd forge, youd think this is a good idea, an activity that bars out anyone unwilling to shoot random symbols on a wall all day. No thanks. There are games that actually respect your time. Either learn how to create a -blam!-ing puzzle or stop forcing them in as padding for shallow content. Also, love how you do the season pass to "increase content flow" yet ive literally never felt less of a reason to play.

Launch day is today, not tomorrow or next week. I should be able to do something new, not just be a potato shooting symbols in walls. I’m not a dumb person but I refuse to sit 9 hours (don’t have the time either, I have a real life to live) googling lore and cypher Nordic stuff just to open a forge, an activity exactly as the 3 we already have. It’s pointless.

You can do what they are doing, try and solve it. You have access to the same info they have. Google, Reddit, Discord. There is not a streamer who happens to have phds in Nordic, Greek, and French mythology trying to solve it. There are probably hundreds if not thousands of people pooling their info trying to solve it. Streamers just happen to have a face on the internet while it is being attempted. -

Well for the Bungie marketing department this is a success. Destiny went from 22nd (?), to 7th on Twitch..... Tux, this kind of shit is gaming seppuku. Foresaken brought lots of us back, but BA has turned just as many (including myself) away. I'm ground out bruv...

I think puzzles that bring us together are good. This one is IMO while a good concept, the answers are a bit to obscure. This quest is a burn out. With streamers showing fatigue, it is not good even for marketing. -
I understand your point but who has the time to sit 9 hours in front of the tv triying to solve this? Definitely not the majority of players, def not the casual ones. That is my problem, this is a forge, not a raid or an exotic quest. You can’t lock content behind a puzzle that you have to solve with knowledge that has nothing to do with the game or lore.

And I understand your point, that is why I think bungie made the (imo wise move) of saying once it is done it is unlocked for everyone, so people like you and I do not have to spend 9 hours doing it. Granted the downside is we have to wait for someone else to do it. I think overall, the event needed work, but where I disagree is in that it was created for streamers, it was meant for some hard core lore nerds (meant with love), uber brains and the hive mind to solve it and let the rest of us in. -

You will see that the first one to crack this will be a streamer, cause you can be a lore enthusiast, nothing wrong with that, but having time to solve and look at possible solutions is hell, even with 30k people in their chat, google, Reddit, discord are not even close to finish. It’s painful to see some streamers actually suffer to do this, you can tell they are burnt out just triying random answers (the fact that you have to start over from round 0 everytime you die just to input a wrong code and die again makes no sense). I hope bungie actually opens it for everyone and don’t come up with a weird quest like izanami forge after all this.

Why would i want to have paid for a piece of content that seemingly was designed for groups of streamers solving the puzzle all day on stream for subs? The puzzle is just bad. Play any game with decent puzzles and thatll be quickly apparent. This is just more content padding in a game that has enough. Also considering this was supposed to be "the interactive puzzle to unlock the 4th forge" and its essentially just shooting symbols on a wall, yeah, feel rightfully misled considering Niobe Labs was listed in the roadmap like some sort of big deal.

Bad puzzle was not the issue. You said it locked players out, it does not. "big deal" and "seemingly designed for streamers" are opinions. The puzzle is available to anyone who wishes to attempt to unlock it so no one is barred from participating and those who do not can enter the forge when someone unlocks it. To the best of my knowledge, they never claimed the labs was an interactive puzzle to unlock the forge, only that it was an event and not a dungeon. Someone, such as yourself, who does not care to participate in it could have been the one to solve it and unlock it faster. -
Seriously. This is what we get. Thanks for listening to the feedback bungie. These guys will never get it.

I think one thing that the community isn't happy with is content they paid for is locked behind a complicated puzzle. Don't get me wrong, a challenge is always welcome, but most players just want to hop in play a decently long quest, while learning more information about the Black Armory along the way. Possibly culminating with a Shattered Throne Style dungeon. Most people don't have the time or fortitude for a puzzle such as Niobe labs. So in turn they feel locked out, and disappointed.
