I just received Synthoceps from my fated engram from Xur this week. The only issue is I already owned Synthoceps, and I still have random drops that I have not collected from my exotics collection. Specifically Ursa Furiosa and Antaeus ward. Both of these are random drops, neither of these were given from the fated engram. Did it simply not work for me? Or is there some kind of loophole I'm missing?
