Why grind for Luna's Howl?

There's no point in it when you can get the best weapon in the game from legendary engrams. The Duke Mk.44 will kill a Luna's howl user ez pz! Just proc kill clip and BOOM! You've got a -blam!-ing POWERHOUSE. "BUT HAMMER," I hear you asking from behind your NASA grade laptop, "YOU DO 130-SOMETHING WITH THE LUNAS ON THE THIRD SHOT! IT KILLS IN THREE SHOTS AND IS A 180!" Well -blam!- that! Who wants to grind for some gay hand cannon that takes two shots to even proc the perk? Now you may be thinking, "BUT DONT YOU HAVE TO KILL SOMEONE? THAT TAKES THREE SHOTS AND I SWORE TO BE A PUSSY ASS PACIFIST IN UNDERTALE!" Just shoot someone with the badlander that I know you shotgun whores have and follow up with a hip shot. Then BOOM! You just keep getting 2 taps one after the other. Guess how many taps it takes Luna's to kill. THREE, BITCHES! So you all sit all fat dumb and happy with your Luna's while I'm making all the streamers salty with my Duke MK.44. Edit: I actually got Luna's. Can confirm that Duke>Lunas

  • You don't want Kill Clip on a Duke, the math doesn't work in your favor because you will need to reload (which for the Duke you can put the controller down, go make a sandwich, and by the time you get back the animation should just be ending) before having 2 tap capability. Rampage on the other hand, just kill one guardian and with only 1 stack of Rampage you now 2 tap as well, no reloading necessary. The best one I have has High Caliber Rounds, Triple Tap, and Rampage, plus I dropped Backup Mag in it which gives me 12 rounds (which is beautiful in a hand cannon). The TT keeps me in the fight just a little longer without having to suffer through that reload if I'm landing my head shots. Great gun for both PvE and PvP so long as you can land your hits. I won't go so far as to say it's better than Luna's Howl, the slower hand cannons are a little less responsive and forgiving. I will say though that if this is the best hand cannon you can get and it's Rampage on it, you did well, just practice with it and pair it with something that will shore up it's weaknesses (like something you can swap to when they get in close, because they will and a slow HC is not something you want in that scenario).
