As a fusion rifle user, I am very happy to not see three red lights beaming at me every time I turn a corner. Glad snipers actually take skill to use and the crucible isn't the snipe fest it was in D1. You should be flinched if someone gets the drop on you. I can't tell you the amount of times in D1 I was pecking away at someones head, even with HCR, and they somehow pull off a headshot. Total BS. And It should take longer to pull out what is theoretically a cumbersome weapon. It's not a small sidearm. And supers are super for a reason, get a second body shot if you've strategically distanced yourself enough.

I agree with this. The flinch is as it should be. The "buffs" that sniping has in destiny is that there is no bullet drop and the velocity is instant (point and click damage). If it were real marksmanship involved then i would justify reducing the flinch. There should be different calibers of snipers in the game. 7.62 rounds, 50cal rounds. Helmet armor perks along with body armor perks that reduce flinch. There should be helmet armor perks that even reduce headshot damage as a counter. Adding more variety to the game will deal with a lot of problems.

This! A good sniper always shoots first so he doesnt have to deal with flinch. If I hit you and you can 180 Quick Scope without flinch whats the point of sniping? Sniper users should hold lanes and look at objectives even if that means they "camp". Thats the point of sniping.. support your team while they push and shoot unaware enemies..

The flinch reduction on enhanced unflinching perks is frankly unnoticeable

You still take flinch even with that gear on
