I think snipers are fine, the problem is the maps are too small for them to be effective. This was a problem even when all game modes were 4v4, but it’s even more of a problem now that 6v6 is back in quick play. With 12 people on maps that were designed for on maps that were designed with 8 people in mind, sniping is just not a practical option.

Maybe the maps are too small or, think of it another way, are all the scopes much too zoomed in? A sniper with a mid range rifle scope or an acog/Mida type scope would be awesome

That would definitely help in competitive where the team sizes suit the maps. But quickplay needs bigger maps, not only to help out snipers, but to make shotguns harder to use effectively and improve the overall flow of the matches.

Yeah I agree. Both would be nice though (I really want a sniper with a mid range scope lol)
