I've been maining sniper and auto rifle since the update to weapon slots dropped. In my opinion, sniper rifles are in an okay spot right now. I do agree though on Pulse Rifles being a better option, especially Graviton Lance. That thing is still a beast against anyone who's not wielding a shotgun.
