Fix Hunter class ability, speed, jump, and perk synergy

Hi Bungie, overall great game! Let me break down the issues I have been seeing with hunters since destiny 1. Class perks: Hunter perks synergize well when the hunter is fighting solo..an example being: dodge near an enemy to get melee back. Or kill a burning enemy to get ability. or kill an enemy with precision shot with knife to restore knife. or melee kill an enemy to start health regen. The problem with this is it doesn't synergize well with a fireteam..if a teammate takes that kill you are left without tools for the next encounter. The other thing is a lot of the perks are useless in high level or difficult activities. for example: I wont be able to melee kill something and get my health back because AOE attacks or maybe it's an orange bar. A better example: I wont benefit from enhanced radar because blackout is active. Class ability: The hunter essentially does not have a class ability right now. It simply does not do what the patch notes says it will do. The only hunter subclass that had a true class ability was nightstalker and that was nerfed for pvp balance. but then the go fast update and others buffed the other to classes and left hunters with nothing. After the updates, dodge was supposed to break aim assist while in the animation. I have plenty of examples of this not happening. and it really needs to break aim with melee attacks too. Especially in pve https://youtu.be/qZe8pu_JqeY same thing happens in pvp: https://youtu.be/FK2JMGPSxhQ lastly, Mobility and speed: hunters were first advertised as swift and having speed. now after the go fast update, the other two subclasses get around a lot quicker than hunters. this hurts hunter players in pvp and pve. this is true even if the hunter specs the build for speed and mobility. in pvp if u dont move as fast you can't get to the action as quick and you dont have as many opportunities to score kills. add to that, without an ability like a handheld bomb or a shoulder charge, or comparable grenades, we have to make it work to get our kills. now I do notice grenade damage has been buffed which is a start, but the grenades themselves dont compare. arcbolt for example, it doesn't even proc if out of range of an enemy, mix that with the way it throws short without a fastball perk and it becomes a very unforgiving grenade..meanwhile compare that to the flame wall grenade or pulse grenade which strikes several times whether the guardian who threw it is alive or not. the answer is not nerfing grenades or shouldercharge either! Shouldercharge is a very titan-like move and I like it..hand held grenade makes warlocks seem that much more mystical and powerful so I like it. But hunters need something now. it use to be speed, invisibility..one hit kill flux grenades..but not anymore. I think the class needs to be revamped. dont give us anymore perks like stealth or improved radar because the AI during pve and endgame is not set up for that..they still still get that last attack in or will still be looking at your hunter. blackout or something like it will be in effect so u won't be able to use those types of perks. dont give us perks like invisibility because it will cause pvp balance issues if done correctly. Mobility is big though. my arc blade is very slow and cannot catch ppl who run. the melee attack and dodge are quicker and I can see that but the run speed is slow and the jump is like the hunter is floating. it should be quick like fist if havoc. Look at how long he hangs in the air when he could be chasing the titan. https://youtu.be/-IHwHOp-iuA I think about how blink was nerfed back when blade dancers had it but now titans can pull the same type of aerial maneuvers today. an example of be dash in the air through an entry point and pull a hard 90 degree knee to the opponent lying in wait.I use to do that with blink and shotgun in d1 and now the titans have it. the patch notes even say arcblade should go to max sprint speed and dodge should break aim assist. neither of those things happen right now. spectral blades is could but aiming in super is bad kinda like quickfang aim assist. So in conclusion at least 5 things need to be addressed: 1: a new class ability that will be beneficial in all the games content 2: tweak our jump and speed to make it in line with the other classes. dont have us hanging in the air so long. 3.give perks that will synergize and give energy back that will work even when fighting with a fire team. An example of be: set an enemy on fire with a knife and u or anybody on ur team kills, u get ability back. or dodge near an enemy or teammate and get melee back (or at least melee energy) 4. better grenades and one hit kill melee: imagine a nightstalker with suppression grenades, or gunslinger with thermite grenades..arcstrider with pulse grenades! I'm sure there is more but all in all just revamp hunters so u dont have to nerf em every year.
