Crucible is a literal joke.
Holy shit where do I begin? The servers are -blam!-ing garbage, the chaperone is a goddamn sniper not a shotgun, fusion grenades were nerfed horribly but the titan still has the -blam!- shoulder rush as a one hit ko, the spawns are -blam!-ing garbage, the new Dawnblade super can't even withstand one shotgun hit even though I have a full over shield and so much more bullshit. Bungie do you even listen to your fanbase? Your game is broke as -blam!- but I sure am glad i have new shaders and the edge transit! -blam!- off Bungie.

I...I don't...no. chaperone is an actual skill based shotgun, fusion grenades do decent damage, and dawnblade in the right hands won't ever be in shotgun range. I have no sympathy for you. Stop whining. Crucible is in a fantastic spot. I'm not doing year 1 D2.

Every weapon can be op in the right hands and it's amazing. Stop crying for nerfs! The crucible is in a great spot right now because they buffed most weapons. You are in the minority and I hope bungie completely ignores your silly complaints.

Dude chaperone doesn’t even ohk to the body point blank. It takes more skill to use and it punishes severely if you miss. Just because you got owned by someone who was consistently landing headshots doesn’t mean it needs to be nerfed, they’re just good. I don’t mind the titan ohk, it can be annoying, but hunters can outmaneuver pretty well as long as they don’t hit you from the side while your off guard. Everything shouldn’t be super balanced. That’s what made the game stale. Different classes and weapons being effective for certain things is where the unique plays and actual fun come in. Go play COD or Fortnite

7 RepliesI went 41 and 0 in a QP game with a Bow and a Pulse Rifle. If you're struggling now it's because you were one of the people that hid in the back camping lanes with Graviton or Mida. Good luck sport.

3 RepliesWhy is everybody crying? Can you all remember what you saying before they changed the weapon system and economy? Remember how people wanted D1 style play, lower TTK and everything they loved about D1? Change happened! Bungie Listen! Now we get cry babies who hate shotguns and want to go back to everybody using scout rifles and graviton lance shooting across the map with no engagements. You can clearly see when someone is bull rushing you with a shotgun! Learn to use something to stop them! Side arms are great for this and sub machine guns. Learn to step outside your comfort zone and experiment with different weapons to counter people. Also, each level is designed with a more specific play style in mind. I switch my weapons based on what level spawns. Some have tighter hallways which is perfect for close ranged weapons, shotty, sidearm, SMG. This is the point of those WEAPONS! Use them! Other levels are more suited for long range engagements. Again, get out of your comfort zone and year 1 way of thinking and playing. Two things I hate: Invisible Hunters, sitting in the corner so when you turn the corner! BLAM!!! Shotgunned. That is annoying, I will give you that. Also, the range on some of these shotguns is insane. Especially that NF shotgun, good lord! The Chaperone should be the only shotgun that should have any sort of distance on it. It is kind of the point of it. All regular shot guns need to have their range nerfed. Nobody should be hitting me with a shotty from long distances, that is absurd.

As a counter to your point on The Chaperone: Yes, it has longer range than othe shotties, especially if Roadborn is active, but it can't body. If you miss the headshot or fail with a follow-up melee, you're probably dead.

That shoulder charge... I had a guy run a damn train of those on me one match. One after the other, just “spawn, run, shoulder charge, dead, spawn, run, shoulder charge, dead”. It got to the point where I was thinking “[i]how the hell is he finding me so fast???[/i]” Otherwise... eh... I get kills, I get killed... it’s Crucible. I’m not the best, but I get my bounties done and bail out.

That was an unnecessary bash at The Chaperone :( that gun rewards skill the most out of all guns. If you miss that first headshot, unless the opponent is absolute garbage, you're dead.

Everything you just said could be eliminated if you didn't get in people's faces. Try using a longer-range weapon and look at your radar more often so you don't get rushed with Chaperone.
