This was pretty crappy on your part Bungie. Nobody was complaining about scouts being too strong or too weak.
The only reason I can think of that you did this was to PUSH players to use pulse rifles and bows as these are the new weapons you "want" us to use rather than our trusty and accurate scouts.
Make all weapons effective and let the players choose what best fits their play style.

Pulses and Bows?!? they obviously only want us to use edge transit or some other garbage grenade launcher. was turning in IB tokens last night and got the IB grenade launcher three times in a row... RNG huh? i just stopped and said -blam!- it ill turn the rest in tomorrow.

i don't even think it's them dictating what we get but rather just a lazy "rng" loot system that they didn't test enough. we had this same problem when the game launched where if you turned it a bunch of tokens in at the same time you were very likely to get multiple repeats, even with exotics, a friend of mine turned in 5 at the same time (remember when PE's rained exotics) and all but one was the prospector GRENADE LAUNCHER haha.

Not when they weakened them by 30%, they basically made them less watered down, but watered down nonetheless

Either way it's an improvement on the current state of Scouts is it not?, I'm just saying that as a community maybe we shouldn't constantly look a gift horse in the mouth?

It’s a shit horse that became half as shitty. The mentality that taking 4 sets back and the one step forward is a “gift” is incredibly backwards.

I wish I could agree but can, bung pulled some shady stuff again and neglected to be open (like they promised). Time to dismantle of infuse any scout I have, not really worth the effort, I imagine there are a few other secret nerfs bung isn’t talking about

If anything though, surely this will promote scout rifle use rather than diminish it? Therefore bringing them more in line with other weapon archetypes and fulfilling your original request?

My comment was on them nerfing it in the first place, not that they were restoring the class back with the buff.

They didn’t restore them back 100%, still weakened due to bungs secret nerf And they promised to be more open with community That’s s laugh
