Can you please focus your efforts on removing masterwork cores from infusion first?

 • Masterwork cores should be required to infuse Masterwork weapons. Not all legendaries.

 • I wouldn't like that, but I would understand it

 • Nah I think its fine having them there. It makes players think hard about what should be scrapped for cores and what is worth infusing. It also makes players try new weapons rather than using the same things all the time. It would be nice if the gunsmith and xur sold cores though, having one vendor is not enough.

 • You immediately lost me with “it makes the player think”. I don’t want to think, I want to shoot stuff. That’s why I bought the game

 • Than don’t worry about infusion. By your own admission it’s not something you want to think about. Therefore using masterwork cores doesn’t matter to you.

 • Wrong, it does because there’s only a certain amount of guns I like to use so it without a doubt affects me.

 • But you just want to shoot stuff. And you can do that with any gun at any light. You’re welcome for clearing that up for you.

 • Did you even read my post? There’s no way you did because your response makes no sense. I tell you, I like my gun and that’s what I use to shoot stuff with. Your response, use other guns. Then you say “your welcome for clearing that up”. Clear what up? You’ve just made me more confused. You need to read what other people post before you just throw things out there. Stay off the weed.

 • I didn’t say use other guns, I said you can use any gun to shoot, even the one you like. And you can do that without over exerting your obviously taxed brain. I did read what you said, it was two sentences. I’m sorry you are very smart and confused yourself, but that isn’t my problem.

 • While it was only two sentences it was obviously to much for you to comprehend.

 •
It also makes players try new weapons rather than using the same things all the time.
Only when they get a better shotgun for PVE than the EP-shotty, will I start considering using other energy weapons.... so your argument is kinda counter productive for a sensible player. Let me play the way i like, i can experiment on my own way in my own time when I FEEL LIKE IT. I hate being force to use lesser weapons with shit perks only because infusion is unaffordable as a system. We all try new weapons when we get them, when the stats look promissing, so i really see no point in making infusing so expensive. Freedom of playstyle!

 • Let's just leave it at agree to disagree. I'm all for trying new things but people should want to try it and not be forced to. Also the price of cores is ridiculous. If it was 1 for 1 I wouldn't care

 • 👍I agree. I’ll experiment and try new weapons anyway. Particularly during content lulls. Blue gear is almost a waste now. Might as well be auto dismantled for materials after a certain light level, because using them for infusion is too pricey.

 • Exactly. Heck I don't even mind the planetary material cost. But Masterwork Cores? Nope.

 • Dang, I’m the opposite. I hate planetary materials because it feels so pointless to do. If I wanted to farm materials then I’d go play farming simulator, not destiny. Although I understand the complaint about master work cores. Iv barely gotten any.

 • D1’s system was better. Only Glimmer and Resources, and Legendary Marks, none of this “Masterwork Core” bullshit we have in this one. The old one was PERFECT.
