My only question, is why were they nerfed to begin with. They were fine before. Now they are pathetically weak.

Edited by Zisis: 9/24/2018 8:33:30 PMIt’s because a bunch of cry babies were butthurt when MIDA was offered to everyone through a quest for D2 and not RNG. So Bungie nerfd So. Many. Salty. People.

The damage had nothing to do with PvP. It was an exclusively PvE thing of I recall.
-
Well you know Bungie. They have a tendency of going from one extreme to another, as is tradition at this point.
-
... what! Litterlly what the -blam!-. Mida wile it's a good gun has been outclassed by tons of other exotics and legendarys. That makes no sense. Nobody complained about them. Nobody argued there were too good. They were perfectly fine and balanced. They were competitive and fun to use.

You rang?

Thank God, I needed you for a moment :D
-
Lol, and they still won’t be returning them to where they should be.
-
There’s a reddit post explaining how they will be better than before I think.
-
How? By giving them half the power they had prior to this unwarranted nerf? That’s not better by a long shot
-
The need was accompanied by a buff to headshot damage or something- I don’t remember exactly but apparently it’s a buff to pretty much all of them pre nerf
-
Bungie is entirely unaware of how to properly balance weapons, so whenever something exceeds the intended utility, they nerf it to hell. Happens with a lot of devs. FromSoft on day one nerfed the Fume UltraGreatsword into the friggin' ground because people complained a gigantic wall of a sword did "too much damage". They never fixed it, so it's outclassed by pretty much everything in its class. Yay
