How is "fixing braytech scout" helping us?
Bungie, there is a problem with mod component economy.
One small solution was to use this "Braytech scout" workaround to essentially buy ONE mod component for 500 glimmer, one legendary shard and one gun mats.
OHHHH BETTER PATCH THAT!!! CANT HAVE PLAYERS BUYING ONE MOD COMPONENT AT A TIME!!
Shall we fix the mod component economy while we are at it?

I agree entirely, but you know Bungie will patch anything that benefits players immediately, it's just how they are.
