Prestige Raid Lairs: Designing Content to Buy Off Content Creators

Buying off content creators by cheapening Destiny’s end game is a new low.
You’re effectively presenting low hanging fruit for content creators to talk about, which ensures a content cycle that keeps them happy, which in turn staves off their angry communities. This is, effectively, watering down the chowder for profit.
The players have spoken: we like the D1 formula of hero moments, high level encounters and mechanical challenges and you’re answer is low up time with effective abilities, weak weapons to make the abilities seem stronger, tethering strong players to weak players with revive token / wipe mechanics and now, generating content for content creators to peddle their content so they stay off your ass. Buying them off won’t fix your game. Listening to player feedback and letting the game advance itself organically will.
Lastly, stop trying to advance your damn narrative in to our play style; we love our freedom to play how we want. Sacrificing that for your Sandbox team’s design hubris has to stop.
