I feel like it wasn’t forced. It wasn’t really even mentioned much in the game. And no, often if they are straight, they are a large focal point. In most stories, characters have a love interest. Anyways, they do host and fund that pride parade in Seattle btw. Which I think is kinda cool.
Basically, I don’t feel like it was forced.

I haven’t done the... adventure? Strike? Where you find out she’s a lesbian. So far I’ve just known her as [i]the possible daughter of Rasputin[/i] (you stay away from my head cannon) a Gunslinger, owner of doom cool Rasputin guns and slightly annoying. Are people really trying to argue her entire personality is based around being a lesbian? Because, until you know she’s a lesbian there’s not really a mention of it...

It was in a comic. It’s not really acknowledged in game. But same here. She was the lady who gave me SIVA, err I mean Warmind weapons.
