Does the First Order give you the impression of the Third Reich?

Wish I could share images, but seriously, when general Hux gives his speech to the First Order in TFA that's like such a Third Reich feel the way all the banners and officers look, not to mention the layout of the stormtroopers. PS does [i]First Order[/i] name itself remind you of [i]Third Reich[/i]?

4 RepliesPerhaps it would have if their General did not turn into a three stooges comedy routine in the Last Jedi. In all honesty, trying to model them after the Reich is a bit uninspired, but asking for creativity from this bunch is like asking rich people to surrender their fortune.

2 RepliesI think its all supposed to but frankly it feels lazy and like they don't have a consistent theme from movie to movie. Star Wars doesn't have to rip off historical factions to have good villains yet here we are.
