<As mentioned in part 6, I believe the identity of the 5th Race are the Jovians. Xur's kind. Let me back this up. First off, the "Green" Concept Art paints the 5th Race as humanoid... If the Jovians inhabit the Jovian system (Jupiter, Saturn, etc) then where the -blam!- are they? We should've had mentions from the Vex or Hive or even Fallen about it. But no... it's like nobody was even there. So, what if they are with the Nine? Makes sense since Xur talks about them all the time... but wtf are the Nine? I believe they are agents of the Darkness. Why? Xur is hurt by Light. The Nine consider the loss of Light a gift. The Nine come from a signal beyond our own Galaxy, fun fact, those Tetrahedral ships are found outside the Galaxy. The Nine are beyond cryptic. Xur says the Nine transformed him but it was the Darkness and Light that turned the Awoken, and the Jovians are more transformed. It'd have to be the Darkness. So, now that we have the briefest explanations out of the way... let's move on. So I changed things up a bit. I figured I'd make it a sort of anomaly in their genetic makeup that pops up every once in a while. Each one comes with glowing yellow eyes and the ability to use the Darkness for abilities, like how we use the Light as Guardians. Oh, almost forgot. Another reason why I thought the Jovians would be a good idea is that it'd further back up the "Dark Mirror" thing that's being built up. The Traveler's mirror is the Darkness. Our mirror is the 5th Race. The Traveler and Darkness are related. Us and the Jovians are related. See where I'm going with this? So that's all. The whole thing. Will I make a master post? Maybe.
