Bossk, Gladlin and CEL-3 trudged on. They were almost through the Sorosuub Pipelines and onto The Sorosuub Refinery. Along the way, they ran into more troops, including a squad of shocktroopers who had hoped to launch a surprise attack.
They now laid dead on the ground.
To reach the refinery, the bounty hunters and droid had to climb a thin, steep pathway up a cliff side. Bossk was nimble, and Cell had rocketfeet, so the two helped Gladlin up the more difficult parts.
"Our troops were unable to kill the bounty hunters, sir," said one of Officer Gue's men.
"How long, bounty hunters, will you evade me?!" Officer Gue slammed his fist onto the window ledge of the Star Destroyer. "Activate the assassin droids and prepare my transport ship. I will hunt down Bossk myself!"
Soon, Officer Gue's ship was speeding down towards the Sorosuub Refinery.
"Officer Gue, this is the captain of Engagement Squad 16. We are near enough the refinery if you wish us to assist," said a voice over the comm line.
"Permission to assist granted," Officer Liam replied.
His ship descended on the northern, upper landing bay. Engagement Squad 16 would be approaching from the mile long tunnels to the east.
The three finally arrived the refinery. They wasted no time, but hurried through it as fast as they could. Not a single stormtrooper or droid was around. The refinery looked abandoned.
"This is good. Come on," Gladlin hurried forward.
"Hold it, kid," Bossk grabbed him. "It's too quiet."
"Yeah, too quiet," Cell said. Bossk told him to shut up.
Bossk looked around, then focused on what appeared to be thin air. Then Bossk grabbed the air, and yanked, snarling like a Trandoshan would. Suddenly, a gun appeared (T-21) and then Bossk leaped and kicked. A black stormtrooper went flying. He was knocked unconscious.
"Shadow troopers!" Bossk exclaimed. "Part of an Engagement Squad. There will be more of them."
As if on cue, blaster bolts began firing from all around. Bossk's infrared vision allowed him to see invisible things, but to Gladlin and CEL-3, they were utterly invisible.
"Run!" Bossk roared. "Get moving!"
Without hesitation Gladlin and Cell ran further into the refinery. Bossk followed, but took a different route. He jumped up on the side of a alloy sheet and jumped. His Trandoshan claws gripped the edge of the metal pathway he was trying to reach.
He climbed up and entered the tunnel nearby.
Gladlin and Cell ran into trouble immediately thereafter, as they almost barreled into a squad of jumptroopers and shocktroopers. Gladlin whipped out his blasted and sent two jumptroopers flying out of control until their jet packs exploded.
Cell's built in blasters formed and he struck a daring pose. Then he opened fire.
"YEE-HAW!!!" CEL-3 shouted. "Dinner is served!"
Gladlin gave him supporting fire. But up above him on a ledge, was a shadow trooper, and his T-21 was focused right at his head. Just as he was about to pull the trigger...
Bossk dove forward, and the two went flying through the air. Bossk skillfully timed it so that when they landed, Bossk was on top.
"There's more coming in from the tunnel!" Bossk shouted. "I'll flank them. Keep firing!"
Bossk dashed into another tunnel and came out into the northern landing bay. And at the foot of his ship stood Officer Liam Gue.
"I swore that I'd hunt you down," said the Imperial Officer after a moment of still silence. "Well here I am. Just you and me."
Bossk growled.
"Stupid Imperial. You have no idea what I'm capable of."
"Oh yes, I do," Officer Gue said, pulling out his modified sidearm and firing a shot at Bossk. It hit Bossk's shoulder. Bossk snarled in pain.
"The Empire is finishing off the Rebellion on Endor once and for all," Officer Gue walked forward, firing another shot at Bossk, which hit his chest. The Bounty Hunter stumbled and did not fight back.
"Once the rebels are finished, the Empire will eliminate all bounty hunters and tighten grip on the outer rim planets, deploying autoturrets on thousands of worlds. The age of freedom is over. The age of the Empire has begun."
Officer Gue fired at Bossk once more. The Trandoshan buckled and groaned in pain.
"You've run out of tricks, Bossk. I've been waiting for a long time for this."
Officer Gue pointed his weapon at Bossk's head. The injured bounty hunter said;
"The way of the bounty hunter is deception and trickery. And you, Imperial, just got tricked."
Bossk kicked Officer Liam Gue and grabbed his blaster, and with a mighty punch, sent him flying and crashing into a stack of crates. Being a Trandoshan, Bossk's wounds healed incredibly quickly, but Officer Gue didn't know that. Bossk had tricked him into thinking he was severely injured.
"Defeat comes for those who can't sniff out a trap," Bossk said, turning and leaving to assist Gladlin and Cell.

PS: this has been a fun ride. No matter how it ends, it’s been a pleasure fighting along side in of the most famous Bounty Hunters in the Galaxy.
