you aint alone , they shat all over solo players in this dlc. once your milestones are done theres nothing for you but the same old loop with zero rewards.
but if you can raid they shower you in gifts for curbstomping mobs at light level 300. each raid gives 15 extra chances for loot that increases your light.. i guess those 15-20 % of the player base that have ever done a raid are the only ones they will be looking to sell the next DLC to. they seem ok with alienating all those who dont raid.

Respectfully, I disagree. I’m a solo player, as my guild is pretty inactive and I haven’t bothered changing it. There are the collectibles and Sleeper, etc. quests which require a pretty large grind, and valor ranks (which resetting apparently gives the equivalent of a powerful engram). I haven’t really run out of content, but I also play Titanfall 2, so maybe I’m biased. I like PvP as an end and not just a means.

For what it's worth none of the post-story quests in Warmind seem to have given powerful drops. Sleeper isn't a powerful drop, nor has the Diary quest been (thus far, even if the final stage is, thus far it hasn't been, and five weeks for a powerful drop is a slap in the face if the point is power gain). Prophecy weapons are if you haven't cleared them, but it feels almost like punishment that they are and Braytech schemantics aren't powerful. The collectables are trivial to get, unless you mean the completely RNG driven Catalysts, which after > 60 hours post-DLC release I'm on one (Crimson), but a clan mate who's < 10 hours in has six. Yes, it feels like I'm earning a desire to uninstall the game. Most developers have moved away from this kind of hard RNG, adding pitty timers or balancing the game out in a way that lets people fall into it or earn it in parallel paths; Bungie seem to have missed the memo from the rest of the industry. The real issue is the exotic upgrade route going away. It's the same high most people get from god rolls, without breaking the game. You "earn" your drops by playing, and getting the random exotic drop; it's random, sure, but it doesn't break the game to give you 1-3 light bonus in a slot, and it keeps you playing. Since exotics are insanely difficult to find now (outside of the raid), I really don't understand why this was taken away. (For what it's worth, the raid exotic drops are powerful.) Finally, crucible is terrible for me, and many others. I have a good connection, but I'm put up against a wall of people who warp around the place, and who don't take damage from anything but ground effects (grenades/some supers) and melee. After months of reporting players for having a poor internet connection (or, gasp, the cheating variant), I'm still faced with it. Something like 1/5 games is now fun, which is a vast improvement on 1/week, but it's still terrible. It could be connections (deliberate or otherwise), it could be netcode, it could be that Bungie keep matchmaking Australians with South East Asia and America in the same match. Who really knows. But it isn't a viable option because of how bad it is, and how "unfun" it has become to waste time in. I've got other games I can play for PvP that don't feel like a dice roll, mostly because they're on dedicated servers.

The sleeper quest etc were good additions. But even then they had to add a slapdown for the solo player by keeping it locked at soft cap. Whatever way you paint it they have went out thier way to slow down the progress of solo players..
-
Then go raid, just LFG for team. Grow some balls and actually talk to people.
-
ive done every raid in destiny has made. and it doesnt take balls like idiots like you might like to believe , its just not so easy when most of the folk who used to play have left and in lfg i might mean mouth breathers like you who want carried through while barking orders at everyone ect...
-
You just assumed so much crap that is completely wrong, I can see why people don't like you haha. No wonder you're complaining about this kind of stuff you scrub, I'm a solo player as well you know and I have had no problems on LFG.
-
i assumed nothing. anyone who thinks it takes balls to lfg a raid is clearly a muppet. theres nothing brave about anything you do in a game.
-
That's not really what I meant but ok, some people don't do raids because they don't like talking, hence the reason for my comment.
-
then it was you who assumed wrongly. theres heaps of reasons folk dont raid. none of them are due to bravery or lack of. i tried to see how much of a riader you are but could get nothing but D2 , you joined this place 2 years ago so might not have raided in d1 . if you check ive probably got about a hundred raid completions from VOG till leviathon. lfg is so hit and miss you get toxic squeekers having hissy fits if theres a wipe, then their mom calls them for dinner and you have to wait or they leave. etc... etc.. ive done enough to know how it goes. sure you can get some good guys. ive seen some amazing players in lfg. but as a 46 year old guy with a family i dont have masses of time to play raids like i did when i was younger raiding in WoW etc.. so if i cant play with guys i know are chilled and arnt tweenagers with issues i dont want to raid these days.

Edited by PhantomMirage115: 5/17/2018 2:54:23 PMhahahaha, now this is great, I'm a D1 Vanilla player, completed over 300 raids in D1. My old Ps accounts are PhantomMirage115 and PhantomMirage116, I also have Miragination and PhantomMirage117, take a look through my accounts and then tell me that again. Again, you assume so much without the evidence to support it, please do me a favour and get out of here.
-
lol if you have multiple accounts how the hell am i supposed to know that telepathy? i checked the account you have here, and why would you have multiple accounts ? it matters not in truth you clearly lack some intellect then if you have been using lfg as long as that and cant accept that it can be very toxic. unless of course you bring the toxic with you? your forum attitude suggests that might indeed be the case.
-
Oh and you should know I have multiple accounts, I have 2 main ones linked on We Love Aspect's Bnet and then another in the status that is very clearly visible.
-
I don't bring toxicity with me, I just choose the correct team without fail. If someone's toxic they're gonna get a swift boot. Also I have my reasons for multiple accounts, some of which involve boredom for already 100% games, there are others but there's no need for it right now. Regardless, we're done here, you have your opinion and I have mine.
-
or could it be you need multiple accounts cos you get blacklisted by folk for toxic shit? i know thats what toxic squeekers used to have to do in games since long time ago.. they would be blacklisted from raids and groups for ninja looting or just being a jerk and had to go make a new account . boredom as a reason to start a new account seems kinda lame unless of course you have far too much time on your hands in the first place.
-
Nah, that's also wrong. Just look up my accounts, they're all completely fine. Never had bad rep or reports on my accounts which you can see on certain sites, I know the Xbox site shows that stuff. Anything else before I mute you for being overly useless and boring now? Please your replies get weaker every time, I thought you'd be more fun here.
-
na i,m done go ahead and mute me. best you dont read anything to challenging
-
Hmm, you can't really say that when you can barely type basic English.
-
thought i was getting muted? go on then run along
