"It's alright, Camella," David assured, "You can trust me with your tears."
He fell silent as he shed a few himself.

She nodded in his shoulder, before a sob left her mouth. She hugged him tighter, finally breaking down a little.
-
He nodded, respecting her grief. David was nonetheless caring. He cared about everyone.

Edited by Weeaboo Of War: 2/4/2018 6:43:56 PMWhat felt like countless minutes of crying and sobbing would carry on, until Camella finally fell silent in David's arms, her own still kept around his being. She breathed softly, while she kept her being still. Outside, the sun had begun to set.
-
The silence endured.
-
Camella had begun to fall quiet, before seemingly falling asleep in David's arms. Outside, a knock was heard.
-
David lie her on the bed and answered the door, "Hello."
-
Hyaenis. The politician seemed concerned, though relieved when David answered. "Good, good. You're alive."
-
"Yes... Hyaenis, I'm alive," David replied, annoyed.
You still owe reply in discord
-
"Trust me when I say that past associates of mine have been killed off quicker. ...Don't think I can come in." He said, looking at the now asleep Camella. "...We have something of a lead, you and I do. On Julian."
-
"Of course." David sighed. He wanted rest.
-
"...Bad timing, I suppose."
-
"We need to pursue this if we are to find Julian. Before it's too late," David replied.
-
Edited by Weeaboo Of War: 2/6/2018 12:31:38 AM"You should rest, though. We can pursue this in the morning.." Hyaenis added. "It is.. a matter that could relate to the king."
-
Edited by Splashback77: 2/9/2018 3:53:07 AMDavid's voice grew rather angry, sounding similar to Agent Washington's "It's also a matter that if not pursued immediately might have Julian killed!"
-
"Wh- yes, of course! Apologies, sir!" Hyaenis would yell back, clearing his throat then. "The king and the pope have established themselves with.. hooded figures. None that I have seen. Two of my.. birds, or rather spies, saw them: one returned, and the other did not.."
-
"Interesting..." David decided, "Anything else suspicious?" He seemed rather... intrigued by these findings.
-
"Other than the factor that these men have never been seen within the capitol.. there was this." Hyaenis handed a slip of paper to David. "The note was recovered by my spy. Surely, they know now that they are being watched.. or worse, they know that I am watching." The note read "Take Julian from underground, smuggle into Zyria. Frame Tribune for the crime, begin operation Lionfire." "Though this Lionfire.. it is a curious name."
-
"Zyria. If that's were these travels will lead, I shall go. Where did you find this?" David asked. Lionfire. Perhaps a hint that thus was being perpatrated by Armillion, or by someone of blood or treasured to him. Or perhaps lionfire was referencing Armillion's wrath.
-
"My sole spy recovered it underground, in the many tunnels that move throughout the city. These figures.. they seem to have a small force here, and these letters are large in number. Though no Julian.. Do be careful, if you head to Zyria. The Trayvens are engaged in warfare against the Tribune there.. if you are captured by the Trayvens, you would be executed for treason, usually anyway. The Tribune are.. merciful, though."
-
"Why would they capture me? I'm technically on their side. I will not keep the note, for obvious reasons," David replied. He muttered something in Irish, familiar to Hyeanis, When I swear something on my mother's blade, I mean it. Dead or alive, I will find Julian.
-
"...That's good to hear." Hyaenis responded, to the Irish portion. "And if the Trayvens learned that you were heading out of the city.. you may be suspected of this. Trust me, stranger has happened. It may be a war crime to murder a prisoner.. but Trayve breaks laws all the time."
-
"Maybe I don't paticuluarly have to go to Zyria...." David realized, "I know a lot of Hunters. My immediate family is 60% Hunters. Or that Ghost... Centauri."
-
"You intend on sending another, in your place as a scout, then? That.. could work, I suppose."
-
"Could? It will. I know some sneaky people."
-
"Your confidence is truly inspiring." Hyaenis stated, bowing, his robe shuffling as he did so. "However, do have care with whomever you send. I have lost many spies of mine, to that cruel land."
