"I'm glad I haven't been in contact with my father in a while with everything that's been going on in both Tatakais," David sighed, "He would be rather... pissed off."
He heaved a sigh, "Of the twelve siblings that I have, only five of them are my blood realtives. The rest.... are from different realities than me.
Of my blood siblings, I'm the youngest.
The two oldest of them are the twins: Rose and Jack. Then there's Iris, the lone one. There was Kyren... and Allyson..."
David teared up a bit as he mentioned their names. He sniffled, trying to hold back his tears.
He shivered, as tears began to fill up his eyes, his voice becoming less calm and more shaken, and sounded a pitch or two higher, "K-kyren, Allys-son, and I... we were... a set of triplets... I.. I'm lucky... to remember them at all. I was... was the only one that... that lived of those three."
He calmed down, again, wiping away his tears, "I... I... rarely tell that to anyone."

Camella fell silent as she then listened to David, her eyes then widening a little, as she crossed her hands together in her silent demeanor. When he finished the story, she would rise up from underneath the covers, stand up, and then approach him and kneeled down in front of him. The knightess took David's hand then, with her unbroken one, sighing. "...When I was younger, my mother used to say "Remember me, dear". I.. I never found out why, at that age. Now I know. Infection took over her being, and we were too poor.. too poor to save her. Father drunk himself into a stupor as she begged for help, while mother would lay in bed, puking and crying and bleeding. Amy.. I kept her away from the room. I couldn't let her see.. mother. Then she.. then she never woke up from it. My father, he.. he didn't care for her. Her body sat in the guest room for a day. U-Until I retrieved a guardsmen and had it brought out. F-Father was drunk and stupid.. he was put on trial. When we were alone, before he was sent away.. he threatened to twist my head off so quickly, that it would.." Camella fell silent, then, for a moment. "...I'm sorry, David. ...it's a story I've never told anyone. But you, because I respect you, I trust you with my life, I.. ...I'm sorry."
-
He seemed to understand. "Must have been a hard life. Can I give you hug?" He asked.
-
"It wasn't, I.. alright, maybe it was. And.." Camella fell silent once more, before then hugging David on her own.
-
He gently hugged back, careful not to hurt her injured arm.
-
Burrowing her face against his shoulder, David could feel a few tears leave Camella's eyes as she silently cried. Perhaps he was the first individual that she had been able to.. connect with, to develop a bond with. A sad thing, really.

Edited by Splashback77: 2/4/2018 2:22:34 PM"It's alright, Camella," David assured, "You can trust me with your tears." He fell silent as he shed a few himself.
-
She nodded in his shoulder, before a sob left her mouth. She hugged him tighter, finally breaking down a little.
-
He nodded, respecting her grief. David was nonetheless caring. He cared about everyone.

Edited by Weeaboo Of War: 2/4/2018 6:43:56 PMWhat felt like countless minutes of crying and sobbing would carry on, until Camella finally fell silent in David's arms, her own still kept around his being. She breathed softly, while she kept her being still. Outside, the sun had begun to set.
-
The silence endured.
-
Camella had begun to fall quiet, before seemingly falling asleep in David's arms. Outside, a knock was heard.
-
David lie her on the bed and answered the door, "Hello."
-
Hyaenis. The politician seemed concerned, though relieved when David answered. "Good, good. You're alive."
-
"Yes... Hyaenis, I'm alive," David replied, annoyed.
You still owe reply in discord
-
"Trust me when I say that past associates of mine have been killed off quicker. ...Don't think I can come in." He said, looking at the now asleep Camella. "...We have something of a lead, you and I do. On Julian."
-
"Of course." David sighed. He wanted rest.
-
"...Bad timing, I suppose."
-
"We need to pursue this if we are to find Julian. Before it's too late," David replied.
-
Edited by Weeaboo Of War: 2/6/2018 12:31:38 AM"You should rest, though. We can pursue this in the morning.." Hyaenis added. "It is.. a matter that could relate to the king."
-
Edited by Splashback77: 2/9/2018 3:53:07 AMDavid's voice grew rather angry, sounding similar to Agent Washington's "It's also a matter that if not pursued immediately might have Julian killed!"
-
"Wh- yes, of course! Apologies, sir!" Hyaenis would yell back, clearing his throat then. "The king and the pope have established themselves with.. hooded figures. None that I have seen. Two of my.. birds, or rather spies, saw them: one returned, and the other did not.."
-
"Interesting..." David decided, "Anything else suspicious?" He seemed rather... intrigued by these findings.
-
"Other than the factor that these men have never been seen within the capitol.. there was this." Hyaenis handed a slip of paper to David. "The note was recovered by my spy. Surely, they know now that they are being watched.. or worse, they know that I am watching." The note read "Take Julian from underground, smuggle into Zyria. Frame Tribune for the crime, begin operation Lionfire." "Though this Lionfire.. it is a curious name."
-
"Zyria. If that's were these travels will lead, I shall go. Where did you find this?" David asked. Lionfire. Perhaps a hint that thus was being perpatrated by Armillion, or by someone of blood or treasured to him. Or perhaps lionfire was referencing Armillion's wrath.
-
"My sole spy recovered it underground, in the many tunnels that move throughout the city. These figures.. they seem to have a small force here, and these letters are large in number. Though no Julian.. Do be careful, if you head to Zyria. The Trayvens are engaged in warfare against the Tribune there.. if you are captured by the Trayvens, you would be executed for treason, usually anyway. The Tribune are.. merciful, though."
