Minx let out a sigh, closing the door behind her to her room. The barracks weren't the best, but at least she had her own space. Luckily she could furnish it as well, and with the paychecks she got for her service, she managed to get some electronics, own food, a much better bed, and more. It wasn't Valhalla, the deck dedicated to Valkyrie, aboard the R.F.S Mjolnir, but it was nice either way.
Flopping backwards onto the bed, she closed her eyes for a bit. Amanda was so flustered for some reason, something must be wrong. Aside from the run in with the rogue faction now on the planet, nothing else seemed off. Unless there was new orders coming from the shady government back home. ONSC was weird, and Minx didn't trust them.
Groaning then, she rubbed her temples, trying to figure out what was happening. It could be anything, but if it was, it would be announced soon.
At least though, she got someone new to join the ranks of Rubicon, and she managed to convince Captain Zecht to let her bring him in.
Now it was just a phone call, as she reached into her pocket, and scrolled through the countless number of people on her phone. Most of them all the other Valkyrie in her company. Then, she selected his name, and with another push of a button, she was typing rapidly, sending coordinates and a scan key to get inside the Rubicon embassy.

"This one specifically is mine, first of a new breed of armor."
-
"Nice, what'll it be used for?"
-
"Combat, it is power armor after all." She chuckled then.
-
"Well yeah, but surely there's other things too right? You could do a forklift's job with that suit at half the cost and twice the speed."
-
"I could, yeah. There's a lot of things the armor can do, but its mostly meant for combat."
-
"Gotcha. Do yo- We, see much of it out here?"
-
"Mostly on Valkyrie, such as myself. Valkyrie are super soldiers, stronger, faster, one man armies. I am one, and its easy to tell because of the height."
-
"A Valkyrie, aren't you supposed to bring me to Valhalla?" Adrien jokingly questioned to her, not knowing that was the deck where people actually slept.
-
She grinned. "Sadly not that kind of Valkyrie, there's men too. " She flexed her shoulders then. "So, want to see what this tech can do?"
-
"Yeah, got any ideas as to how you'll show it off?"
-
She remained silent then, grinning under the helmet. Outreaching her left arm to the side and planting her right on her hip, a black fluid seeped from her gauntlet, pooling in her hand, then began forming a long staff, topping out with three long, sharp blades, making a trident.
-
Adrien watched the trident form with curiosity. He analyzed it using the limited scientific knowledge he possessed, and figured it was some form of technology he couldn't comprehend. Still, it looked badass to him.
-
She grinned under the helmet, watching his face. "It forms others too, nanites infused with liquid, forms metal harder than Titanium-Carbide."
-
"I have no clue how strong that is, but if it's better the titanium anything it's Kick-My-Ass material," Adrien said in response, as he leaned in to look at the weapon. It certainly interested him, and he wondered how one could use it effectively in battle against people with guns.
-
She chuckled at his joke, as she raised her other hand, and a shield formed in her hand, a great shield. "It forms just about any melee or tool I can think of. Extremely nifty."
-
"Alright, but I'm still convinced you're actually Poseidon. I'm onto you, Minx." Adrien shot her a sarcastic glare beneath his helmet.
-
She giggled again then, the weapons melting back into the armor. "Secretly I am, you never know."
-
"Ahh, but you just admitted it. Should I start giving praise, maybe build a temple?"
-
She waved a hand then. "Nah, lets keep it on the down low for now."
-
"Thank god, I failed architectural design classes when I took them online. Do you know how hard it is to fail with internet Lego?"
-
Edited by Frigid_Jackal_: 2/2/2018 4:09:11 AM"Internet Lego? How the hell do you that?" She laughed then, not mocking him, but going with it all.
-
"Fantastically. All I'll say about that."
-
She shook her head then. "We'll set you straight, don't worry."
-
"Yeah, here's hoping."
-
She let out a short laugh then, planting her hands on her hips once more.
