*The sword had a black blade, one side sharpened and the other side toothed like half of a zipper. It wasn’t for sawing, but possibly for catching the blades of other swords.*

[i]Serrated blades were useful in some respects, and Rachael was quite alright with having one. Being now armed and armored, and with a mask to conceal herself, she seemed a little more at ease. It wasn’t that she couldn’t operate without armor and weapons, but in the face of an army and the men she knew were heading it, she needed gear.[/i]
