[i]"Ah, that makes sense. So, do you guys have any local recruitment stations?" Adrien wasn't a combat guy, but he definitely needed a job. If they were hiring, then he'd take the first job he could. [/i]

She grinned. "I mean, your a better investment than the entire planet so far."

[i]"I'd definitely agree," Adrien said, trying to sell himself a little bit. He figured he'd make himself sound like a good fighter - When in reality, he barely knew how to shoot. "So how do I go about actually joining?"[/i]

"Got a phone? I gotta pull a few strings first."

[i]"Yeah," Adrien said, reaching into his pocket. He grabbed his phone and pulled it out, it was some form of Android. [/i]

She took it then, adding his number to a list of contacts in her own then. It would be a while before he would hear anything, in truth. After a moment she handed it back. "There, I'll contact you within the week."

[i]"Awesome. My name is Adrien by the way." Adrien pocketed his phone then. [/i]

"Emily, everyone calls me Minx though." She gave a warm grin again.

[i]"Mi-" Was all Adrien said, before that same smile made his words slur and turn into some mangled mess of syllables. He promptly shut up and wrote her name in, next to her nickname. [/i]

She let out a little giggle then, turning back to the line to keep up with it.

[i]Adrien didn't have much to say, so he popped into another line, grabbed his coffee and left for the evening. He returned to his apartment, waiting for Minx to contact him the entire time. [/i]
