Someone had walked in a few minutes later, ordering something at the counter. The person had a cheery voice, but even if Alpha had been listening she just barely wouldn’t have been able to make out the words. When the person would retrieve their order, they would look back at Alpha.
If Alpha was looking, she’d see a rather peculiar sight. It was a woman, that much was evident, but only three things could be made out from her form. She had overalls on, along with goggles on her head. She had a wide smile as well, but not creepily or inhumanly big. Everything else just seemed like a mesh... Like she could’ve been looking at anything. The woman would approach where Alpha was sitting.
“You having a bad night?”
The woman would chuckle to herself, looking down at Alpha.
“Don’t know why I asked. You’ve had it rough, no need to explain anything, as much I know you don’t want to. Probably bothering you, aren’t I?”
Her smile would suddenly melt away, giving way to a neutral expression.
“Sorry. Just realized that was probably a little insensitive. I’m Professor Chyrth. Run a little shop near the outskirts. And I know I haven’t really given you a chance to respond to anything, but you’re not exactly the most open person. Can tell just from how you’re sitting there.”

"Oh joy, another omniscient dojoite here to pass judgement. Color me surprised." Alpha replied as she rubbed her eye tiredly. She didn't seem open NOW, but that was because she didn't want to talk to someone who either knew or thought they knew her from a glance. This pseudo-conversation could only end badly for Alpha. "If you're here to look down on me, go away. I don't need that crap"
-
“Judge you? Omniscient? Nah! I just know what could’ve happened in your past! I don’t exactly know what happened, but I know an absolute ton of possibilities! And just considering how you look, I assumed it was one of the bad ones! If I’m mistaken correct me!” The woman’s smile would return, but this time it was warm and inviting, she meant no ill will. “I’m not here to judge you or anything! I just saw you here and thought it’d be an excellent opportunity to learn about emotion! You see, I’m a lot... Different. I’m trying to learn how people act and feel so I can mimic it! That way I can prove my kin wrong about people!”
-
"Go away. I'm not interested" She said flatly.
-
The Professor would giggle, taking a drink of whatever she had ordered. “It wasn’t a choice! I’m just gonna be making observations and see what happens and how people react to stuff! You’re the only sad person I’ve seen, so the course of logic is pretty obvious!”
-
"You can be thrown out for harassing a patron" She pointed out
-
“Except the fact I’m not harassing you! No insults, no aggressive behavior, nothing like that at all! Can’t get me thrown out for anything!”
-
"you can be thrown out for sitting uninvited at my table. I never invited you. Go away."
-
“I’m not at your table. I’m about... Eh... Five or six feet away! Not at your table!”
-
"I'm going to ask you to go away" She said before pointedly looking away
-
“Yeah, you haven’t asked me a single question, though! You’ve just told me things to do, and honestly that’s really rude of you to do! I’m not even really a person and I know that!”

She ejected a plasma knife from her wrist unit and held it up. "Go. Away." She sheathed it and sighed, getting up to pay for her food
