Retrospect Dojoville cafe 9:45 PM The shop was almost ready to close. Everyone else had left, leaving only a few people who either were too young, injured by all the shit going on in their home, or by those who didn't think it was best to drink then. In a removed corner of the quaint little coffee shop, sat the ever scarred Alpha. She watched her coffee absentmindedly, mulling over the last part of her life. After the last attack by the NTR, so many months and years after the actual crime she was accused of, she had come to grips with the fact that her current course had her set for self-destruction. She had driven many of her friends (or would have been friends) away with her illogical rationale, brought on by a wary haze of paranoia that soaked into her mind like a cancer. Despite every opportunity given to her to redden herself, she had retreated into a shelter of self-pity fueled by her own mistakes. Her body, her mind, her very soul was corrupted by this cancer gnawing away at her psyche. Following this revelation, she had discarded her weapon, leaving herself defenseless. At this point in her life, she wasn't sure what she should do. Her want for a family had kept her with the Arrowhead, but it had also been the main reason for her current state. Laying down her gun seemed impossible, but she knew that piracy and the debauchery she had engaged in would further harm herself. As time went on, and the night got darker, Alpha remained. The shifts on the cafe changed, and most of the remaining few patrons had left. Her booth was mostly empty, save for herself. Sleep didn't seem like an option, so pondering her life decisions seemed as good a way to pass time as any. Hell, maybe another night owl could even talk to her.
opem
• A 14-year-old kid, with tanned peach skin, medium-length, wavy aburn hair, horrible acne, and lots of freckles entered the cafe. He was short, at five foot 2, and skinny. The kid had no weapons, wore stained blue jeans, a blue sweatshirt, and gray trainers. His eyes were shit brown, and he sat in the booth across from Alpha. He drummed his fingers on the table. "I'm bored," he complained.

 • "I don't care" She said tiredly. The goat was worn, tired from days of fighting and strife and pain. She didn't seem all that open to the kid

 • He shrugged, an apple appearing in his hand, as he took a bite from it. "You seem tired," he noted, bluntly.

 • "Okay... you don't need to be so demanding. You could just, say, Hey, dude. That's personal. Don't ask again. Cause, that works too." The kid took another bite out of his apple. He started talking to himself, "So where should my next food fight be?"

 • "go away" She said, mot being in the mood to deal with it.

 • "Fine. I'll leave. But you're rude. You are definitely going to caught up in my next food fight," he said, leaving.

 • ^Hey...^ *Vorim stood a short distance from her, seemingly appearing out of nowhere. He never really attracted much attention as he moved, meaning that he often seemed to teleport to people who weren’t watching him. He had heard about Alpha’s change from Sapphire, and about her ‘last stand’ at the ship from Alice. He took a step forward, smiling kindly.* ^Do you mind if I join you?^ *She wasn’t the only one who had changed since they last saw each other. He no longer had his stutter, and though he shifted a bit and fiddled with his own fingers, he had no other signs of nervousness. He was dressed plainly, wearing a dark red hoodie with a pair of grey cargo pants. He had a brown briefcase with him as well.*

 • "Since you guys can't give me space, no. You'd sit regardless." She said dryly as she waved him over. The girl seemed a lot more hurt than the last time he saw her, probably from a bounty Hunter who wanted the money. As she watched him while sipping her coffee, he would then be able to notice her lack of sidearm, or weapon in general. "So what do you want?"

 • *His ears flattened a bit, but he joined her. He didn’t make eye contact, sensing her hostility even without a weapon.* ^I’ve heard about recent events... If there’s anything I can do to help you, then I’d be glad to. Whether it’s therapy or something else. Free of charge.^ *His eyes ventured upward and met hers.* ^You haven’t pushed everyone away.^

 • "I doubt it." She said with a sigh. Her body seemed tense, despite not being in a fight. "I'm tired, Vorim. I don't have anything else anymore. I'm at the end of my rope." She said, taking another sip of her drink. Her body, so whole and pure, was now covered in scars and the disrepair from a lack of basic attention to herself. "Any day now I'm going to get attacked by the wrong person and die. I don't have it in me anymore"

 • *He sighed and placed his hand on her shoulder. It gave her a comforting feeling which magnified over time.* ^Any day now one of us could die... Whether we’re attacked by someone or not. This isn’t the end of the line for you...^

 • She bristled. Any warmth she might displayed drained from her as her mind rebelled from the mood altering. She clenched her fists, her eye narrowed, and her breathing quickened. "Get out."

 • *He let go of her, pulling his hands close to himself.* ^H-Huh? Did I say something wrong?^

 • "GET OUT OF MY HEAD! GET OUT!" She screeched at him as she shrank back into her seat. The girl had a look of fear in her eye, and despite having no guns, she still had the ild cybernetics in her wrists, causing plasma knives to form

 • *He shrank back as well, his eyes wide and pupils dilated. He trembled a little.* ^I-I was never i-in your head! I wanted t-to comfort you!^

 • "GET AWAY FROM ME!" She lashed out with a knife, trying to get him away from her. Her hands were shaking so badly she almost dropped the knife

 • *The blade dug deep into his arm and he fell onto the floor with an animalistic yelp. He immediately curled up in terror as he clamped his hand over the wound.*
