The response would be some sort of... radio signal. Coming from somewhere high up in the mountains. The force had gotten someone's attention.
ATTENTION UNIDENTIFIED INCOMING MILITARY FORCE: This is AVA-17 observation post of ISA Frontier requesting for immediate identification. All military operations on-planet are currently under ALPHA-117 restrictions. Please respond.
• Radio operators aboard the OALCs were quick to pick up the radio transmissions, and they responded in kind. AVA-17 Observation Post, this is Hawkwind Contracting Landing Craft LC-231. Military operations currently are on hold until contact with the Dojo is established. Forward air patrols have been established as well as the deployment of an expeditionary force to the Dojo. Intentions are not hostile. Repeat, intentions are not hostile.

 •
Acknowledged. Sending welcoming party to your current location. *beep* WARNING: The Sector 12 Region of Western Ollimand, Sector 17, and Concordia are still under EPSILON-19 civilian and military lockdown. Any trespassing onto these regions will be considered hostile and will result with immediate ISA Frontier action. Have a nice day!
The signal shut off, and it could be sensed via scanners that a heavily armored ARES-Class Ambassador Transport Craft was being dispatched to the convoy's currently location.

 • The radio handlers sent word to the convoy that a dispatch was being sent to their coordinates. Upon receiving word, the expeditionary force was quick to hold position and adopt a hull-down position should the inbound ship decide to act in a hostile manner. They were not taking any chances with a potentially hostile force. The tanks moved position to cover, as did the armored trucks, soldiers piling out and taking up defensive positions. The modernized halftracks shifted their own positions, their flak guns moving to face the sky in preparation for a potentially hostile force. With the force present on the ground, they would be a significant threat if engaged from any angle.

 • The ship did not engage, rather scanned in case the convoy decided to fire against them. Shortly after, it landed on the ground in front of them. One ARES-Class Atlas Titan, five advanced infantry, a spec-ops, two elite guards, and an ambassador in a unique exosuit were stationed on the ship. Yet only the last two categories exited.

 • Scanning yielded much the same result as visuals. They were hull-down and waiting. Watching the ship as it landed, they kept their flak guns and SAMs tracking it, but they did not fire. As the ship landed and the three individuals stepped out, the entire group of soldiers seemed to wait. As for the ambassador and his guards, while the scans didn’t pick it up, were pretty much surrounded by units on the ground. Nonetheless, no one fired, and there was a relative silence, the mercenaries waiting for the ambassador to actually do something.
