With his already low stance, and having to get lower to actually grab her leg, he wasn't met with a frontal attack.
Instead he felt Olivia's body slam onto of him, her elbow driving into his spine once more, sending another sharp jolt through his body.
He may not be vulnerable to his front, but above was a different story.
The woman lurched off him then, backing up.

[spoiler]To grab her leg and push out would mean he put himself even lower to the ground, which means she could body slam him[/spoiler]

[spoiler]But he didn't grab her leg. (Assuming she saw it coming, she would have to back off for at least half a second, so she wouldn't be caught.) Should she not have backed off, her leg would be caught, and if she did, he would push off the ground and get into the corner. [/spoiler]
