She didn't seem to have any noticeable pattern, slamming an elbow into him then as she spun around his back.
With his elbows up and focusing on reading, it gave her time to dance around him.
She slammed her left fist into the base of his spin then, a hard jab that sent a shock up and down it, followed by kicking a knee out.

His knees were bent, as he was in a lower position. Attempting to kick a knee that wouldn't be kicked out only gave him a burst of time, turning to grab the leg, but instead followed through to the ground, pushing himself towards the corner of the room, so only his front was vulnerable. He inwardly smiled to himself, thinking he was clever. Any frontal attack would be met with deadly resistance.

With his already low stance, and having to get lower to actually grab her leg, he wasn't met with a frontal attack. Instead he felt Olivia's body slam onto of him, her elbow driving into his spine once more, sending another sharp jolt through his body. He may not be vulnerable to his front, but above was a different story. The woman lurched off him then, backing up.

[spoiler]To grab her leg and push out would mean he put himself even lower to the ground, which means she could body slam him[/spoiler]

[spoiler]But he didn't grab her leg. (Assuming she saw it coming, she would have to back off for at least half a second, so she wouldn't be caught.) Should she not have backed off, her leg would be caught, and if she did, he would push off the ground and get into the corner. [/spoiler]
