“How much would a nerf gun be, that actually nerfs people? Obviously for balancing purposes it has to be temporary but still.”

“Same price! Everything’s just a few drops of blood! You see, I kinda just use it to heal myself, along with pretending it’s a sacrifice from a cult that doesn’t exist so my family doesn’t get pissed!”

“...” ... “Ok... any certain thing I have to cut myself with?”

“Nah, could be anything from a knife to your teeth!”

“Ok... what’s the least emo way to do this? Hmmm...” He just pulls out his trident and pricks himself in the finger. “Will this be good? And where’s like a jar for me to put this in?”

[b]She would pull a glass from a nearby wall, holding it out to his finger.[/b] “Just put it there! Only a few drops are needed!”

He put his finger to the jar. “Why make all this so cheap? And why even sell it in the first place?”

“It’s not about gaining wealth! It’s about learning how people work and getting blood so I can trick my family into thinking I’m doing what they expect of me!”

“So you’re doing all this to impress your family? What kind of family do you have that expects you to do blood rituals?”

“The same kind that has multiple cults following them that give daily tribute in blood!”

“Well you were almost normal. So where’s that nerf gun?”

“I’ll go get it!” [b]She walked back through the tent for a minute, before coming back shortly after, handing him a nerf gun.[/b]

“Hmmm... so I’m just making sure this works ok?” He shoots her with it.

[b]It does literally nothing, for some reason. She giggles.[/b] “That tickled! Sorry, but why would I ever make something that works against me? Try it on someone else, maybe yourself!”

“Points for trying I guess. And I’ll just go shoot someone with it later.” He opens a portal and starts to step through it. “Anything else before I leave or are we done here?”

“Unless you wanna buy some more items, we’re done!” [b]She waves to him.[/b]

“Adios.” He waves as he walks through the portal and closes it.
