Woods around the Dojo...
Daun had gotten tired of sleeping under tree and hastily made shelter, and after having been on the road for a while she decided it was time for her to make a nicer living area, if only temporary. She was fortunate to have command over nature, one of her shamanistic powers, as she ascended a staircase made of vine and wood, surprisingly rigid as it led up and up.
It led up maybe about 30ft into the air, though the trees in this section ascended even higher. It connected to a large circular platform around the tree, a balcony rail keeping people from falling off the fairly wide section platform made of the same materials as the staircase. The lowest platform was a mere 10ft off the ground, a large hole in the center for one to descent into the lake around it, a staircase descending into it. The highest platform ascended above even the treetops, Maybe 60ft or so in the air and large enough to have a clear view from miles. Some platforms had walls, others did not, all made of dark green vine and dark spruce like wood though, natural glowing plants and such acting as lamps. There were only a few platforms built as of now, though more were forming even as she admired the view...
As she looked over the balcony on a platform maybe 15ft from the ground, she was pleased with her work, removing her mask as she so rarely did as she took a deep breath in. The clean air of the first hit her face with a cool breeze. Birds chirped around her and animals continued on their business as if the structure had always been there, the few platforms that had been built being enough for her for now.
preferably don’t start on the staircase up or anything. Start by just discovering it or something.

lets for the first
A wind out of place and most certainly too early for the season blew through the house, carrying with it the smell of growing things, thunderstorms, and a distinct non-natural naturality.
-
Daun was altered by this, looking around, sending out a spirit eagle to search the area for her, looking for the source of the winds
-
“Clever, but I’m a bit more than a glorified fan like mortal aeromancers.” Chuckles the wind
-
“Then what might you be?” Daun would reply to the wind, her tone if legitimate curiosity. She was intrigued as to what might be communicating with her.
-
“Wind in the original form.” The wind rustles together until it takes on the form of a tall slender man in a green coat with silver hair and eyes. “But you can call me Verdantus.”
-
“A spirit of wind...” She said, almost astonished. She put her mask on her face quickly, to her kind it being rude to commune with spirits of any kind wearing one’s mortal face. “I have rarely seen any of your kin before.”
-
“You probably have actually, I might be one of the more important ones, but I’m still just a Wylfae Sihde, we’re fairly common.”
-
“Then I scarcely remember meeting any of them. My name is Daun.” She said, bowing to the spirit.
-
“A pleasure to meet you little masque.”
-
“What brings a powerful spirit such as yourself to these woods?” She asked, attempting to show respect to what she believes to be one of the Spirits her people believed in
-
“Curiosity mostly. I picked up a tip from a brownie that there was a mortal living out here and I was curious.”
-
“Yes, I am living out here. Or st least, I’m planning on roosting out there. Please, forgive me if I have intruded in your territory.” She said, sounding almost legitimately worried
-
He chuckles. “If you’re stepping on any toes, it’s probably old Terberr’s, and he’s been asleep for twenty years and isn’t scheduled to wake up for nineteen score more. Watch out though, some undesirables from Winter might show up to try to hustle you.”
-
“I’ll keep watch. Thank you for the warnings.” She said kindly. “To be honest, it feels nice to have a place to call home for now.”
-
“Good. Oh, and sorry for slipping in mostly uninvited, but I figured I should leave most of my power at the door to keep from frightening you.”
-
“Most spirits do come in without warning. Not you faults though, so it’s all forgiven.”
-
“Most spirits aren’t Fey. We are supposed to be polite and all that.”
-
“Honestly, my family would’ve been less polite than you had been. I think you’re fine.” She said laughing a bit
-
“Your family are mortals, or at least I think they are, I’d need to see your blood to tell if you were a changeling.”
-
“I can assure you they are mortal. As I said though, all is forgiven for your intrusion. I wasn’t doing anything important like setting up a ritual anyways.”
-
“Ritual, so you are a wizard then?”
-
“No, more a shaman. Blessings of the Spirits and Gaia Mother is where I get my abilities from, and so we must uphold certain rituals to keep them appeased.”
-
“So a warlock by another name, or a priest by another name?”
