[i][u]Introductions.[/u][/i]
[i]The outskirts of the vast forest near the Dojo.[/i]
The sun hung low on the distant horizon near the seemingly endless forest a few hundred miles from the Dojo, and night was quickly approaching with each fleeting moment. Nighttime in the forest proved to be deadly more times than not, as the creatures and wildlife of the night that dwell within the forest are not so welcoming. Nevertheless, some still venture into the forest, even with the apparent dangers that lie within. Those that are not equipped or ready to fend off anything they may face within usually do not emerge again.
As the sun began to set in the distance, creating a mesmerizing array of colors along with its gradual departure, a lone figure slowly approached the forest, stopping on a sort of ridge overlooking it. The figure stared out at the brilliant sunset atop the ridge, the radiant sunlight illuminating her face and body, as well as the sheathed sword at her hip. This lone figure wore a large black jingasha atop her head, and a black bandana covered the left side of her face, hiding her left eye from sight. This unknown female figure was known as Suzume Hiroshi—though most regarded her as just a wanderer with some [i]excessive[/i] skills with a blade.
As she peered out at the mystical sunset that she could barely view over the tops of the towering trees, she made note of her surroundings, glancing around to see if anyone else was nearby. Her golden lion-like tail flicked around a little bit as she returned her gaze to the sunset, and she sighs quietly, looking down for a few moments. As she did so, she heard faint footfalls nearby, and she instinctively moved her hand to the scabbard on her hip, ready to draw her blade if necessary.

“That is true I’ve seen many warriors, even empires fall In my 500 years of life”. “But I bet when the dojo fought off invasions they were well organized, well prepared, and well practiced. [b] With that he pulls out his huge great sword and preforms a few practice chops and strikes.[/b] “

“Five hundred years...interesting.” Suzume watches him as he practices with his greatsword, studying his every move and taking note of it all.

“More like 536 years but like I told you I’m a lot more than a shapeshifter. [b] He swings his sword low and gets it stuck In a rock. He grunts simply walks over to the rock about half the size of a boulder lifts it up and breaks it apart. Then continues with his swordplay.[/b]

Suzume nods, continuing to study him as he practices with his greatsword. She looks moderately surprised when he breaks the boulder in two, and steps back in surprise.

“You know the best way to learn how a person fights is not by watching them but by actually sparing with them”?

“Sometimes observing can help to learn the intent or style behind one’s attack patterns or intentions. If you wish to spar, I shall step to the challenge, for I am not one to stray from any sort of challenge or sparring match.”

“Then let’s begin”. [b] He takes his shield off of his back and puts it on the ground, he also takes a few pouches off of his girdle and sets them next to his shield.[/b]

Suzume nods, jumping down from the ridge and approaching him, both hands clasping her brilliantly glistening uchigatana. She then twirls it and points it diagonally while holding it to her shoulder, and then bows courteously, as was traditional before sparring matches in her homeland.

It’s not a tradition from his homeland but he bows low thinking it it would be rude if he does not. From their he immediately rushes and swings his sword in a downward chop with enough force for any smaller sword not to be able to block.

Suzume quickly sidesteps and directs her blade towards him in a quick upward slash, seemingly unsurprised by his sudden rush and display of force.

With amazing agility for a man of his size he moves his sword to block the attack then tries to use his superior strength to push her backwards.

Suzume uses that attempt to push her back wards to her advantage, and she moves with his push, rolling backwards before quickly surging forwards and ducking low, delivering a few slashes to his legs before standing up again on the other side of him, readying several more attacks.

When she surges forward he simply raises his foot up and attempts to kick her in the head but he is off balance.

Suzume took advantage of his imbalance and delivered a couple of slashes to his arms and chest before she quickly moved back to avoid tempting another of his heavy and forceful attacks.

Edited by ImaDrizzit: 1/7/2018 6:53:13 PMThe slashes run deep drawing blood in a few places. But if the Dragonborn was in any sort of pain he didn’t show it. The dragonborn goes into a roll closing the ground between the two. When he comes out of the roll he try’s to sweep the woman with his sword, then he stands up and preforms a uppercut bashing her in the chin with the pommel of his sword.

Suzume was somewhat caught off guard by the attack, and she took the blow to her chin and stepped back, stunned for a few moments. She quickly reasserted herself though, composing her thoughts again and collecting herself as she took up another stance and then surged forwards, moving in one direction before quickly dashing in another direction to trick her opponent, and then delivering several slashes afterwards and even attempting a stab to a shoulder.

Her opponent had over 500 years of experience and would not fall for that trick. The second she sidestepped he stuck his leg out to trip her then slammed the flat of his sword against her back Th send her to the ground.

Suzume again took the hit, and was sent to the ground. She groaned quietly, but then got to her feet again, taking a deep breath and recovering herself and her focus again. She was outmatched in the fact that she was up against someone with five hundred years of experience where she only had nineteen or so.

“Surrender is always a option”, he taunted He went into another downward chop with his sword.

Suzume brought her sword up to meet his, and as their blades met a deafening clang sounded out, and a blinding burst of golden light engulfed Suzume’s blade.

The sudden burst of light makes the Dragonborn stumble back a bit but not enough to show any weakness. From there he will swing his blade to the right at the woman’s side and then try to pommel bash her stomach.

Suzume saw this coming, and she actually ducked beneath the blade as it traveled towards her stomach, proceeding to cut a straight line up the side of his leg and roll out of the way.

[spoiler] What direction did you roll back left or right?[/spoiler] The Dragonborn will move back pick up a rock and chuck it at her, the he will charge in with a forward thrust.

[spoiler]Right.[/spoiler] Suzume focuses on the rock thrown at her and steps forward, swiftly cutting it in two before she brings her blade back and slashes at the air, sending a golden beam of energy hurtling through the air at her opponent from the blade of her sword.

The Dragonborn will leap over the beam of energy and he jumps incredibly high and far. From the air he will jab at her face land and slash at her legs.
