"I have a fusion core, the specifics aren't needed. Never run out of energy basically."

“Damn. Should get one of those for my ship. And a better ship that’s not a piece of shit junker, for that matter. Do you have any idea where I might buy or steal one, besides from you? Not that I would actually do that.”

"A man named JT." She didn't like sharing that kind of information, but so far he was kind enough, so why not?

“Ah, heard about him before I came here, actually. Did my homework. He’s one of the more famous people here, actually. Think I’ll have a word about purchasing some parts, then. You know, I have my own android on my ship. She’s a bit of a bitch, but she means well. At least, I’m fairly sure she does.”

"Well, don't think he owns any more of what powers me, since he purchased my chassis third party, then later gave me sentience."

“Well if he bought it, then he probably knows where to get more. He made it, I’ll pay him to make me one. If none of that works, I’ll get one somewhere else.”

She shrugged. "That's up to you, I'm just a messenger. I guess. Whatever that phrase means?"

“It means you just told me the information, you weren’t the cause and you didn’t do anything. It’s where the phrase ‘Don’t shoot the messenger’ comes from. You don’t shoot the messenger just because they brought you the news, it’s not their fault.”

"Well, then I guess I would be the messenger in this instance. Maybe more as well. I'm not too big on fighting."

“Took you as more of the peaceful type. Didn’t look one to punch danger, more to try and talk it down. Are you a pacifist, though? Someone who is against violence vehemently?”

"Its not exactly that, but if I have to, I will. But I'll avoid it as much as possible. Personally, I find life... Interesting, I would prefer not to destroy it."

“Ah, then we are on the opposite sides of the spectrum. My job is to create or make violence happen. Sometimes to kill people, some times to start a war, sometimes to just teach someone a lesson. First contract’s always free. Gets in the customers, y’know?”

She gave a weak smile then. "Well, I guess we are. I like to preserve it, study it in a sense. But some life gets what is coming to it. But if innocents are involved, and I'm around, well we may not meet as friends then."

“Well, you have to understand. It’s just business. Nothing against them or their outlooks, or anything like that. When I kill people, I have no problems with them. No qualms. I just have a paycheck and a name. And innocent is a really broad term.”
