Dojo Bio Page

This is the dojo official bio page! Feel free to copy your stuff from the old group and post it here if you need to. If you are new, make your bio here! What is a bio?: You Bio describes who your character is and what they can do. Upon joining, please make a bio for your character. Before making your character, know that olden day characters(such as medieval characters) will likely be trumped by superior technology as well as future tech. The dojo is based in the present day. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE EACH CHARACTER TESTED. ONLY ONE.
If you are bugged by the dojo posts. You have a mute button. Use it. It's much faster than you making a post showing a lack of intelligence to use a mute button!
• “I am power. I am authority. Submit to me and feel perfection.” Name: Carillius Varmilian. Title: Magister Varmilian. Species: Human. Gender: Male. Age: Late forties. Appearance: https://goo.gl/images/UE9X2B Weaponry:
Blade of Mercy: The main weapon in Carillius' arsenal is his Blade of Mercy, a replica of the weapon used by General Hessarian to strike down the prophet Andraste. The weapon is tall at six feet, the same height as the wielder, and it requires a greatly bolstered strength to use. Hence why it's in use by a mage. Blade of Tidarion: The Blade of Tidarion is a bladeless hilt, much like that of a Knight Enchanter, but made for a two handed wielder. When swung, a rather large five foot long blade extends from the hilt and reaches its peak mid-swing, then slowly dies down. The weapon is usually used if the Blade of Mercy is unable to function, or in the case of Carillius needing a second blade.
Armour:
Most of the time, when he's fighting, Carillius will use his magic to conjure up some form of armour - Usually through Blood Magic and some form of Elemancy.
Spells:
Specialization: Magistrate - Blood Mage Legend tells of ancient Magisters learning Blood Magic from The Forbidden Ones, a group of four demons who still yet live. Some Magisters still explore their knowledge today. ((3000 Mana Points)) ((2500 Health Points)) Tier 1 Spells Blood Magic (Sustained): Once all MP is depleted, the spellcaster may use health instead, allowing more spells to be cast at the cost of HP. Spells will cost half as much health, but have a longer cooldown period. Blood Drain: Target an enemy or ally and drain 5% of their life force, weakening them and restoring 10% of users health. 5 turn cooldown, uses 250MP. Faderunner: Dash across the field and intertwine yourself with the Fade for a brief moment. Costs 250MP, 5 reply cooldown. Tier 2 Spells Condense: Soak up any spilt blood from the battlefield and condense it into a ball (1 foot radius) to throw at the enemy. Tracks enemies. 500MP. 4 reply cooldown. Blood Armour: User cuts their arm open to cover the rest of their body in blood, which condenses to form armour. Can withstand many things, but wears off over the course of 7 replies. 10 reply cooldown. Standing on blood for a full post restores 2 turns of the use, but absorbs the blood to prevent it from being used again. 500MP cost. Ancient Knowledge: The caster of the spell conjures a small orb that allows them to see what the enemy's attacks will be for the next 2 turns. 15 reply cooldown, costs 500 MP. Tier 3 spells Authority: User affects the minds of any NPC characters, forcing them to join his side for five replies while making the caster temporarily invulnerable. Costs 1500MP, makes the user unable to move. 10 reply cooldown. Blood Healer: Replenish 1000 health using the wounds of enemies or allies. Costs 1500MP, 5 turn cooldown. Forbidden Aid: The user calls upon The Formless One, an ancient demon that taught the first Magisters the secrets of Blood Magic, to give a special blessing. Grants the user access to Red Lyrium in their weapon, allowing them to have greatly increased strength - The user can cut through steel with their blade for 5 turns. 2000MP cost, 15 reply cooldown. Tier 4 Spell - Final Spell Abomination: Caster turns themselves into an Abomination of Pride. They take on the appearance of a Pride Demon and grow to ten feet tall; They gain two whips of lightning and fire as weapons; Strength is greatly bolstered; And they now have 25000 Health. They cannot turn human again until the post is concluded - Not the fight, but the entire post chain. Pride Abomination will not stop fighting until the other target satiates their ego or dies.
Backstory:
[From a note written to Brother Genitivi, Scholar] ...And regarding the Magisters of Tevinter, the Varmilian Family has allowed us unfettered access to their family crypts. When the Chantry scholars moved in to investigate them, they found layers upon layers of families, going all the way back to pre-first Blight tombstones. There appears to be some sort of connection to the original Seven Magisters… ...Day ten of the expedition and we've found it runs farther underground than even a Thaig. It seems the Varmilian family once had connections to Dwarves, with them mining Lyrium underneath their ancestral home. Perhaps the dwarves used the Varmilian’s as a way to directly sell Lyrium? Oh, and there's some red version of it down here… ...Day sixteen, our workers are starting to go stir-crazy here. The Templars guarding us have started to report that they were hearing voices… The singing from the tunnels is getting louder by the day… ... We've been down here three weeks now and half of our workers have died off. The Templars who have turned on us are venturing deeper in, and I want to follow. There are Dwarves down here that still live, and they attack us. The Varmilian name carries weight here, since the Templars are constantly talking about them when referring to the red Lyrium… ...Varmilian. Damn that name and everything surrounding it - We've encountered traitorous Templars and mad Dwarves, and now we have to put up with demon attacks? This Thaig is mad! It'll be the death of us… ...Brother, I am sorry. I have failed you and the Chantry. I have met a Pride Demon and he struck my Templars down, every last one of them. I've met a Desire Demon named Drytha, and she has tended to my wounds. I think… I think I'll stay here with her… ...Curse the Varmilians, the lot of them. Drytha… she told me this Thaig belonged to a king that dealt directly with them. The Lyrium, it fueled them. And these demons? They were experiments, sent to the Thaig by one named Carillius for his own personal gain. Says he wanted to excavate it and claim all the Lyrium for himself… Drytha said she'll take me to the city where the rest of her kind is, and I'll be safe… [The notes stop here. The fate of Brother Merkellius is unknown, but it is presumed he has died.]
