I just can't.

Hey, this will be my first, and very well might be my last post on the community. Bungie, if you're reading this at all, you've hurt one of your consumers. I absolutely adored Destiny 1 when it first came out, sure it wasn't at all perfect, not a lot of people loved it at all. My father was the first one of our family to purchase the game and i remember sitting in his bedroom, watching him play and longing to play it for myself. That's when i got my ps4, that was the first game i had for the system. My dad gave up on the game after Crota, stating that the game was terrible and that there wasn't any point in continue playing as it did not hold his interest. I stopped playing with other fire teams and such because i was pretty bummed out that i lost some gaming time with the old timer. I kept defending the game saying that, "don't worry, it'll get better" i kept saying to people and to myself. You know what happened? you came out with The Taken King and it blew me away. I enjoyed the story and started interacting with other players again. That's about the time i met some of the best friends i could've asked for and i still play games with them closely today. I remember my excitement when you guys announced the release of Destiny 2. I was so stoked that it was released on my birthdays of all days and that i'd get to start my journey all over but with the friends i now hold truly dear. For me, i don't really play a lot of games just to play for myself, i love grabbing my friends and sharing the experience. Having laughs, our frustrations, our sad times and just, other emotions and adventures we'd have. I had fun playing the base game for the first week and a half when the game was out. I slowly began to get bored, there was barely a grind, there wasn't even a lot of new things to do or that truly stood out from D1. I was a little hurt and stopped playing again, me and my friends moved on to another game. Then, Curse Of Osiris was announced and again the hype flame was rekindled and my excitement was through the sky. I mean come on, the guy we LITERALLY had a game mode type centered around him, the man himself who was shrouded in SOOOOOOOOO much mystery aside from a few tidbits of information here and there. Was finally going to be explored more and IN GAME no less. I almost couldn't believe it, it was almost too good to be true. Then, I bought the DLC and played through, THE most disappointing and soul crushing campaign i've ever had the displeasure of playing. I liked the concept of "Hey, the vex are gonna -blam!- up the timeline, stop this crap, NOW. " concept but the fact that we didn't get to go through that timeline for more of a story and give of an actual sense of fear and urgency and to prevent this supposed darkness then it really would've grabbed my attention even more, but instead, it was just. "Here, go to where it started, stop them from doing a thing then take care of this boss bot. " Oh, don't even get me started on the final boss for that campaign. Seriously, the way that ended made me so frustrated with the game that i tossed my controller to the side of me and just sat there, watching the cutscene in dismay just so i could process that let down of a boss fight. Then the cutscene was just as awful, i didn't enjoy osiris just skipping out on us. We only technically met the real deal for only a minute or two. We don't get to really interact with him again, we don't get to talk to him more, or get him as a real vendor. So, after that, i decided to take my frustrations out in the crucible. That new laser gun, ( Can't remember the name of it as i officially stopped playing right after three matches ) that was painful. WHO thought implementing that weapon was a good idea? truly, and honestly, why would you do that? I kept thinking to myself. "really? did they really go all out and play test this thing? this is just, so bad. " I personally named it the laser tag meta. After i stopped playing and i deleted any evidence of D2 of my playstation, i keep hearing more and more bad news and how badly you guys are handling this game. I'm no professional on any of this, but i do know what i like and what interests me. Bungie, you really let me down guys, the way you're handling this game and how well you did in D1 to dropping the ball in D2 like you've done, it's sad and it hurts me as i was a huge fan of the game. Eververse isn't helping your case either, it's in no way good for the game and truly only shows how greedy you guys are becoming. Yes i get that you're a company and you thing is to make money but you'll make more money if, i don't know, by some miracle you can keep a pleased consumer base. I'm sorry, but i just can't keep going on until you guys make the change for the better. Take polls and truly, and i mean, truly reach out to your fans and actually take what they say and want into account while also further progressing your story line and see what we the consumer would be interested in actually investing our money into. Hopefully you guys can turn this around, i love this game and it's universe that you guys have created. I'll come back if you give me something to come back to and have a united community once again. The more and more you guys screw up, the more and more nit picky i feel like the community becomes. The worse thing that can happen to you, is bad press. The worst press you get, the worse your sales can be and i don't want to see you guys eventually disappear because of things like this. So please, fix yourself, help the community and listen, genuinely LISTEN. -Juniorstarrr
