However he soon found that he didn’t need it, as he saw a series of green plants and vines flopped down into a deeper section of the floor. It was a small drop, but Zane saw the five by five hatch door leaned up against the side of the wall...
It looked like someone had torn it off.
Any who, the vines seemed to drop down into the deeper section, likely to where the sewmaker would be.

"Hey look, I'll explain it to your contractor, even pay for damages. If your pay drops I'll make up the difference. No need to sweat it."

The Merc put a hand on his hip, thinking for a moment before turning to Zane. “Hmm. Yea...okay. Sure. But NO KILLING ANYONE ELSE, alright?”

"Yeah I gotcha. You know anything about a magic machine that makes pants?"

“Uh....isn’t that just a sewing machine?”

"Yeah, except this one can make enchanted pants. A salesman said he's lower the price on a pair that could help restore my magic if I brought him this machine."

“Oh. Well I haven’t seen it yet, but the contract said nothing about there being any lost possessions. So if you find it it’s all yours.”

"Awesome. So how'd you get caught in the trap? This some kind of puzzle room?"

“No, he was just oblivious enough to not notice an open rope on the ground an happened to walk right on top of it.” Dani said. “What?! No! It’s totally a puzzle room!”

"Well, let's have our AI scan the room and figure this out huh? Try not to step in any more traps yeah? Alfred, Scan the room." [b][u]At once sir.[/u][/b]

“The only doors in the room are the ones atop the balcony.” Dani would comment. “There are no other doorways.” As Zane scanned, he would see that the Merc’s A.I was correct.

"So, that must be the way Into the next room then. You got a way up?"

Jon pointed to the staircase Zane had seen when he entered the room. “We can just use the staircase. But I guess you can use your rocket boots or whatever you got.” He commented as he made his way to the steps.

[i]He followed behind Jon, keeping a brisk pace[/i] "Eh, doesn't hurt to walk. So why didn't you keep moving, why stay in this room?"

“Uh, The whole getting caught in a net thing didn’t exactly help my situation. Plus I was only actually caught in there for a few minutes before you came in.” Baker explained as the two got to the balcony. “After all, I-“ Suddenly, one of the doors at the end of the balcony opened, and a large cloaked figure stepped out, raising both his hands forward. “You gotta be flipping kidding me-“ The man suddenly unleashed an automatic barrage of ice crystals, shooting as fast as an automatic rifle towards Zane and Jon.

[i]Zane raised his ward to cover both him and Jon, the crystals floating harmlessly in the gravity field.[/i] "Let me guess, we can't kill this guy right?"

“Nowp!” Baker told Zane as he reached for one of the black pistols on his right hip. He held it to his side, and suddenly one of the magazines on his right leg flew into the gun. He took aim at the figure at the end of the hallway as the barrage of ice continued to fire. “Alright...when I say [i]drop it[/i], drop your shield for a second before putting it back up again, got it?”

"Yup, you got it. Just try not to get hit alright? Those crystals look like they could hurt."

“Ya...here’s hoping.” Jon said, his sights on the cultist. “Alright...Do it!”

[i]He dropped his ward, the crystals flying back at the cultist and allowing Jon to shoot.[/i]

The crystals scattered and smashed across the walls and floors, one cutting through the cultists leg. As this happened Jon fired as soon as the ward had dropped. A dart shot out from the pistol, and embedded itself into the ice users neck. The figure began to seizure as a few sparks of electricity gave off from him, before he dropped to the ground. However in this second of action more ice spikes flew towards the two delvers.

[i]Zane managed to raise his ward once again, the crystals once again floating in his gravity field.[/i] "Damn, what'd you shoot him with?"

“High powered stun dart! Makes them go into a shock and then coma. They usually wake up in a day or so, with one hell of a headache.”

"Impressive, so we good to move on then?"

“Ya, I’d say so. Not sure which one of these doors will take us to where we need to go though.” Baker commented. There were eight doors total, all identical in their visage.

[i]He dropped the ward which caused the crystals to drop, and walked up to the furthest door. He placed a hand on it, a faint blue glow wrapping around the handle.[/i] "Alfred, do a deep scan and see where this leads."
