The only useful information the consoles provided was a password to open the cargo bay and an update on the time left until life support shut off. There wasn't long until the cargo room became a vacuum just like the rest of space. That also raised the question of why life support was still active in the cargo room at all. What could possibly be there that demanded such attention?
