"Grandchildren? No. Arthur is yet to have a betrothed lady, due to his disappearance.. Isabella, for all I know, cares little for genuine love. Oliver and Niki, I doubt would ever have children. Freya is romanced to a young woman, and Julian remains here, waiting for a princess I believe.
...why do you ask?"

-
"It is more than a compliment, sir." Camela nodded towards David, bowing her head in an almost serving manner. "A statement. No, an acknowledgement. You keep surprising me, and for the better. Political enemies, though.. the game for Trayve's hierarchy is corrupt and unjust. A game for titles and a game for riches. Men and women hire assassins, poisoners, escorts.. all to maim or even kill one another. Armillion has only suffered one assassination attempt through his years, and his attacker suffered worse - he twisted the disguised servant's neck with his two arms, until it.. well, popped off would be a term to use. Armillion.. has always had a satisfaction from combat, but never cruelty."
-
"Well. Sounds like the heirachy needs a change. Or a change in the people apart of it."
-
"...Both would help. ...Hey. Move a little slower. Turn right, this next corner." Camela had seen something, as they walked down the street. Something that panicked her.
-
David complied, walking slower. When he saw the corner, he turned right. "Yes, Camela?" He asked.
-
"We're being hunted." Indeed, four individuals had begun to follow Camela and David. Unarmored, yet armed with melee weapons, appropriate for self defense. "Turn left, this time. Keep going straight. We can bait them - it's four versus two, but we can take them if this works."
-
"Amethyst?" David asked. His purple Ghost appeared, "Yes?" "Are you able to ressurect?"
-
Amethyst would not find the ability to resurrect. As Camella and David turned down the street, they found a walkway that lead upwards to a bridge overhead, while one of the followers took the walkway, the other three still after them. As they reached the underneath of the bridge- "Now!" Camella would yell out, as she would push David to the side: in result, the assassin from above crashed down upon her, as the two struggled between a knife within the attacker's hand. Yet through it, Camella's straight sword skidded upon the ground to David's feet, as the other three assassins drew shortswords and approached the Titan.
-
He whistled to Amethyst, who would transmat the Dark-Drinker to his hand. "I can't resurrect you here," she warned.
-
Two of the assassins would approach, as one would go to slash at Daniel diagonally, the other circling him for an opportunity to attack. A yell was suddenly heard from Camella - one of pain, yet a tearing noise and a deathly gurgle escaped her attacker's mouth. Civilians began to run from the scene, screams ringing out as Camella pushed the body off of her body, her shoulder injured from a stab wound.
-
"Camela!" He called, as he would counter. He stayed wary of the second assassin, as he would slice towatds one.
-
Camela would stand after a few seconds, engaging combat with an assassin as she rose. The attacker that Daniel would slash at would block using his equal size blade, though the Guardian's mighty sword would cleave right through it, leaving only a hilt behind. The assassin seemed stunned by that - something to remember.
-
*David. Not Daniel DAVID. D-a-v-i-d. David.
David nodded. "Oh. This changes everything," he muttered. He wasn't channeling much of his light into it.
-
D A V I D
Another attacker would jab towards David from the side, while the assassin that was now missing his blade would throw the hilt at the Titan's head, only to draw a dagger.
-
He would jump back, ducking to avoid the flying hilt. "I promised my mother I wouldn't kill anyone while I was here."
-
"Sir, perhaps stunning would be of more use then-" Camella yelled out, as she didn't seem to have as much morals against stunning. She would grapple her attacker's arm, suddenly snapping it as the assassin screamed in intense pain. The assassin with a weapon still would approach David, before flicking a knife towards him, the blade flying for his chest.
-
The knife hit its mark, embedding itself into his armor, but not piercing it. David gripped the Dark-Drinker in his left hand as he tore out the blade with his right. He dropped the knife. A bit of his light sparked in his right hand, sparking with lightning. "Oh no..." he muttered. He closed his hand to stop it. Then he threw the bit of Arc Light away from him and at the assassin. The light would crackle, as it made a loud bang and flashed loudly. His first flashbang.
-
The assassin would yell out, clutching his eyes while his companion would do the same. Camella, as she knew militaristic equipment, would be smart enough to force her opponent to look at the flash and close her own eyes, before then sending them to the ground and knocking them out.
-
The flash wore down as the assassins were blinded. David approached blinded assassins, taking off their helmets and knocking them out the the flat of his blade. "So... what should we do with them, now."
-
"I don't.. don't.." Camella tried to speak, though her face went pale, as she would gulp and study the wound inflicted upon her. The wound had begun to shift into a light yellow hue, before becoming a sickly green color. Poison. "...David," Camella went quiet, trying to keep calm. "Guards w-will arrest them. Just.. n-no matter what, get me to the palace. U-Understand? There's medics f-for this there." She looked as if she would fall over, at any second.
-
"Amethyst," he requested, "Highlight where the nearest medic is." "That will do, Davey." "Don't call me that." He scooped up Camela in a bridal-style carry.
-
Camella would gag in a pained wheeze, holding onto David as if he was her only hope, and she wasn't wrong. David would have to hurry to the palace.
-
He tranfused a small bit of his light to try to stabilize her as he rushed to the palace. "Medic!" He shouted.
-
As David would reach the palace, hushed screams and gasps escaped the crowds of nobles, as a few medics would escort Camella to a medical chamber. Bells rang throughout the city, bells that rang of despair and foreboding. Something was terribly wrong.
Fin, for now.
-
David would counter.
